When I was a child, it was a real treat to go to the local Woolsworth and buy a Whitman Books. I found this copy of Sierra Summer in a used book store and had to buy it. Annette is on a adventure in visitng her cousin in Lost Creek locaterd in the Sierra foothills. Suspenseful moments with new friends, this adds up to the thrilling story of Annette's Sierra Summer.
This is a children's book starring "Walt Disney's Annette". The character isn't based on Annette Funicello herself, though. She is actually Annette McCleod, the character that she played on the "Annette" serial on The Mickey Mouse Club. Anyway, Annette visits some relatives and helps some people out, I'm sure it was an enjoyable book for kids back in 1960.
