Blektre, c’est la pièce de Nathalie Quintane tirée du jeu sur Internet (du même nom) de Charles Torris (http://blektre.info/). C’était la commande du festival Actoral de Marseille d’une « mise en lecture ». Nous avons enregistré la pièce et nous en avons fait un grand spectacle. Avec : Cecilia Bengolea, Erik Billabert, Jonathan Capdevielle, Yves-Noël Genod, Frédéric Gustaedt, Yvonnick Muller, Marlène Saldana, Thomas Scimeca, lumières de Sylvie Mélis.

Solo performance by Katarina Stegnar Via Negativa, 2010 production “What would you like to eat for you last dinner? Where would you like to be buried? How should they bury you? Who should come to the funeral? Who should deliver your funeral speech? Which song should be played at your funeral? What are your last words?” These are questions, which Katarina gives to the picked up viewer who at the end of this short conversation dies in her lap. Of course the audience doesn’t believe it’s true, but this is not the issue here. This prologue is about the idea of death – this is what we all believe in. Death is profoundly intimate but at the same time extremely spectacular sensation. The performance enacts both its faces: an intimate struggle of a dying person: “They told me I would go through 3 stages: first is denial, second is anger, and finally acceptance,” and death as the ultimate spectacle experienced by those watching from outside. Death is a play in which we all must take our parts: the performer becomes a corpse, the audience becomes an undertaker and the performance becomes a funeral. La serie High Density es una propuesta del galerista Ed Weber y está caracterizada por la premisa de que la performance debe filmarse sin cortes, sin otro un proceso de edición mínimo (básicamente entradilla y créditos), durar menos de 5 minutos y ser grabada y presentada en vertical y FullHD. (para el reproductor vimeo la hemos volteado, en la exposición el monitor se presenta en vertical).
