Short Track Men's 5000m Relay Wins Gold at Four Continents Championships

South Korea's men's short track team won the 5000-meter relay at the International Ice Skating Union (ISU) Four Continents Championships.
The team of Park Ji-won (Seoul Metropolitan Government), Jang Jang-woo (Korea University), Kim Gun-woo (Sportsnet) and Lee Jung-min (Korea Gymnastics University) were the first to cross the finish line in the men's 5000-meter relay final with a time of 7:13.143 on Saturday (June 6) in Laval, Quebec, Canada.
South Korea's final runner, Park Ji-won, picked up the pace with two laps to go to win the race ahead of China and Canada.
China finished second in 7:13.463 and Canada was third in 7:13.556.
Park Ji-won competed in the men's 1000 meters, finishing in 1:28.664 behind Canada's William Danunu (1:28.338).
In the women's 3000m relay, Korea's team of Lee So-yeon (Dankook University), Park Ji-won (Jeonbuk Provincial Office), Park Ji-yoon (Uijeongbu City Hall) and Shim Seok-hee (Seoul Metropolitan Government) won the silver medal in 4:14.567, just behind Canada (4:14.513).
Lee So-yeon and Park Ji-won competed in the women's 1000-meter final, but were unable to win a medal as they finished fourth and fifth.
South Korea won two gold, three silver and two bronze medals at the event, which featured athletes from Asia, the Americas, Africa and Oceania outside of Europe. 슬롯사이트
