Short FAQ: Changes From Now!

Q. What is vSapphire?

Ans: vSapphire is the kernel version particularly for FBEV2 roms or the roms which are flashed using it's own SPECIFIC RECOVERY like for example Descendant Os, Pixel Experience+ & Pixel Experience, Pixel Ports, Lineage Os, Awaken Os, Paranoid Android etc. but will also boot on NON-FBEV2 roms (as I have already mentioned in changelogs).

Q. Why is vSapphire?

Ans: It is because as Lineage Os kernel source gets updated sometimes for miatoll too & it has to be implemented on other kernels also to make it boot on latest los roms but I can't afford to do that because it is & can lead to imbalance & unstability of my kernel on NON-FBEV2 roms or the roms which are flashed using ORANGE FOX RECOVERY like for example DerpFest Os, Cherish Os, Voltage Os, AICP, Fork Lineage Os etc. so that's why I decided to make a separate version which won't affect the stability of my kernel neither for NON-FBEV2 roms nor on FBEV2 roms.

Q. Why is version name "Sapphire"?

Ans: As I already said, this version is mainly specific for FBEV2 roms so made the name like this, PE + LOS = SLOPE (after rearranging) = Sapphire (after the first letter S of SLOPE).

Q. Is KCAL supported in vSapphire?

Ans: vSapphire also has both KCAL & NON-KCAL variants for those who really care about it.

Q. What about the versions other than vSapphire?

Ans: It will be continuing as normal as before with both KCAL & NON-KCAL variants but it won't boot on FBEV2 roms (as I have already mentioned in changelogs).

Q. Will vSapphire also boot on NON-FBEV2 roms?

Ans: YES, it will also boot on NON-FBEV2 roms but it won't be effective as on FBEV2 roms.

Q. What is the difference between normal versions & vSapphire?

Ans: YES, there are & always be some minor differences (as I have already mentioned in changelogs) but nothing major as the source of both normal & vSapphire varients is same.

Q. Which version should you perfer?

Ans: It's simple, just identify that whether your rom is NON-FBEV2 or FBEV2 & then if it's NON-FBEV2 rom flash Phoenix-v1.6 (or any other versions in future except vSapphire) & if it's FBEV2 rom flash vSapphire.
