ShinMend Privacy Policy
Cedarpulse WorksPrivacy Policy for ShinMend
ShinMend (package: com.cedarpulse.shinmend) is a shin splint recovery app built for runners and active individuals who want a structured rehab schedule and a daily pain log to track their progress. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. For questions, see the Contact section below.
WHAT WE COLLECT
ShinMend does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The only data the app works with is information you choose to enter: your daily pain scores, shin location, activity type, free-text notes, exercise completions, and recovery phase progress. All of this is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device, is never sent to any server, and is never seen by the developer or any third party.
Because no data leaves your device, Google Play's data safety definitions do not require us to declare any data types as collected. We publish this policy for transparency about how your information is handled.
HOW WE USE IT
Your on-device data is used only to run the app's features: displaying your recovery plan progress, charting your pain trend over time, tracking exercise streaks, and pre-filling today's pain log entry. No data is used for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond what you see on screen.
SHARING
We do not share any data with any third party. ShinMend contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting service, no advertising network, and no push-notification provider. The app's dependencies are limited to standard Android UI libraries and a JSON serialization library, none of which transmit data externally.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
This app is not directed to children under 13. It is intended for adult runners and active individuals managing shin splint recovery.
CHANGES
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted to this URL.
