Big fan of Claire Redfield from the Resident Evil series. Been practicing with dynamic poses and lighting.

Second, I have a job that pays just enough to get through rent, bills, groceries, pet care, and the rest of life’s many tolls. This means, Youtube was a way for me to experiment with animation on Source Filmmaker and earn a little bit more money to save up. I made about $100 on a good month, $60 on an average month. Patreon has helped a little bit. I appreciate that.
However, that has gone out the window. Youtube has copyright claims on my most popular videos with the most residual views, and claims many of my videos immediately after uploading because of sound or music. Meaning, I am not making money off of Youtube anymore. Animations take up too much time, and it takes even more time NOT making money already learning how to get good at SFM. And quite frankly, I wasn’t looking forward to a career in animating.
So the point: SFM Animations are not going to be made on The Mystery Zone anymore. The channel is being reworked into something else.
The channel has always been a product of experimentation. Before animations I did a series called “Let’s Draw” in which I’d get up first thing in the morning and draw something new every day, usually a request from Youtube comments, Facepunch forums, or Twitter. To this day, the channel is no different; it’s still all experimentation.
The future of the channel will still be entertainment-based. I’d like to interact with a community more. I’d like to make something gaming related, something with “vlogs” as kids call’em and rants, and news about games I’m looking forward to. I can stream freely and talk to you guys while I stream. It will take much less time and it’ll overlap with my free time, where I’d probably be playing video games anyway.
Patreon patrons will be notified of the change, giving them time to back out of a monthly payment before the month ends.
I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to you, but I hope you still like the stuff that I put out.
As for this tumblr, it may go inactive. For the most part I’ll probably just link people to my normal blog.

Recently a number of my videos, including one of my more popular ones, Babylegs, have been flagged and claimed for using copyrighted material namely in the audio.
