@Noqtra Have you tried turning it off and back on again? (' - ' ) Never saw such an error, it should at least give you the red ERROR model. Try verifying cache?

for anyone else that might be having an issue with the right knee going wonky with the rig that might not know how to fix, just open up the rig in a text editor, go to line 302 and change the "LowerLeg.L" towards the end of the line to "LowerLeg.R" and save!

Incredibly well done model, has a very detailed skin as well. But there are obvious black lines on her neck and sides. It becomes more obvious when rotating the spine bones or the neck bone. Also there is a weird bump between her boobs.

The spots on her back have the normal map so they are shaped like holes. I hope that these are supposed to be moles that you accidentally inverted the normal map, and that they aren't supposed to be gunshot scars, because they creep the fuck outta me:

so the exact portion of the script that was broken was where it was trying to determine the place to put her right knee based on some math between the upper and lower leg bones. Because the only major difference between them was their location on the horizontal plane, doing the math with one bone in the "wrong" position made it only break a little. Had that bone been swapped with say, an arm... the problem would have probably been significantly worse. Hmmmm... maybe I should science it a bit...

@ShawaZawa Good catch, added to the todo list(not the one on the page, just my own one, cause fuck updating the one on the page)
@laosduude I would've loved to do such a thing, sadly SFM doesn't have any properly glowing shaders. ($selfillum is just a mask of UnlitGeneric) So it's a limitation of Gaben. If anyone has any suggestions as to what could come close to looking like that, I'd love to hear.
@Medic For the moment I'll be working on two widow-tracer animations(been a damn while), and if by the time those are finished and no one has done all the girls, or not properly, I'll probably do more. Maybe even the dudes. Won't be bothering with nude for either though, unless there are other awesome people like Likkez who can be arsed to make nudes for them.
@Zeleniy I know man, I set them as wallpaper myself. They're made by ColonelYobo, check out his stuff!
I didn't do shit today cause I was burned out, but keep giving the feedbackses and I'll try to fix the last issues by Tuesday night. Gotta improve those damn fit flexes don't I...

@laosduude If you are talking about RedDoe's Tracer content, he used Maya, not SFM, or if you mean the picture I temporarily put out on tumblr earlier, that was Blender. Will inclode in tonight's release and will write down how to get it to work. Later on I might attempt to automate it via script. For those curious, it's two volumetric gobo lights with a small diference between min and max distance. It works perfectly, and can be made to look even better than on that gfycat. Get hype!!
Patch tonight hopefully with fixed bumpmap, fixed rigging issues, improved fit flexes, a new visor bodygroup that's weighted to the face bones, and whatever else I did.
Megiddo was working on another texture upgrade for her, so expect that when he's done with them.

No, the eyebrows aren't on a texture sheet. The eyebrows are colored separately through a VMT $color parameter.

well... then somebody gotta split the geometry and repaint the eyebrows white shaded and add the paint alpha. the additive color doesn't work in sfm afaik. that's the painting problem. on the way... that somebody could repaint the whole skin smooth and add a alpha mask for an alpha detailblendmode to detail the freckles. avoids the freckle pixel compression in the base. that's what looks aweful. but let's not be too technical here. :D

@gimmeaname I have absolutely zero clue what you are trying to communicate, in any of your points. As far as I understand, you have creative-side issues that can and should be taken care of within SFM, such as turning off the bumpmap, the detailmap, and changing the eyebrow color.
Also, guys, make sure you have the latest version(1.4) and sorry about the version that was up for 3 minutes which had derped eyebrow and nail materials. (orange eyebrows, black nails, lel) That was my fault /(._. /)

Great model, love all the options that it has. Only problem I found is the weighting at the hips/top of the legs - which is rigid and not smooth. So when I lift up a foot or rotate the pelvis down, there is a very obvious clipping and sharp edge on the top leg where the bend is happening. Other than that, awesome work! :)

Someone needs to rip them from the game. Not sure if anyone has done that yet. Everyone rips from the char select screen, where her guns aren't in memory, so they get left out all the time, sadness. If someone is willing to rip the gun from during gameplay, I could possibly include it in here at some point.

Hi Mets, thanks for your amazing work on this model!
Just a small note, I am not sure if there's something missing with the model or if I'm too noob with SFM to figure it out but I can't get any "override materials" to work with Skin 1 and Skin 2. If I apply say a color on "bodynude" texture in the element viewer I can see it when the model is set on skin 0, but not the other skins.

Change the names and paths in the Element Viewer to corresponding skin .vmt's.
For example for body in Skin 1, choose the material "bodynude" change it's name to "1kmspaint" and path to "models/metssfm/overwatch/tracer/1kmspaint/BodyNude_1kmsp"
And Skin 2 to "body_megiddo", path to ...\tracer\body_megiddo.

Indeed, this is because materials that aren't in the the first defined material folder(in this case, metssfm/overwatch/tracer is the first and metssfm/overwatch/tracer/1kmspaint is the second in my QC) don't show up in the element viewer by default, but if you add them manually, SFM will associate them correctly. Kind of annoying I know, but my OCD wouldn't let me dump everything in a single folder D: Maybe I will reconsider, if I ever make another patch later on.

I'm new so sorry if this does sound dumb; for some reason the model "warps" whenever I try to rotate the knees, feet and arms, let's say I try to rotate the knee, the foot will stay in place and warp the connection between the foot and the leg itself. Like the bone is there, but the connection doesn't work and you get this weird hyper-foot.
I do have your rig attached, and I've tried parenting the Upper leg with lower leg, lower leg with foot, etc and still haven't had any success.

Hey there... Well.. Anybody I guess? But, I was wondering if you guys can help me out here. I've used SFM as my little creations towards pictures and also maybe a little towards animation (Movement) as well. But... There is a problem that I'm having with the Tracer model. Every time I try putting on her jacket on. Her nipples and her breasts show out still of her jacket. And even with the leggings. They still show skin. Do you guys know how to fix this problem?

Tracer, as the description says: "Clothes are fitted via flexes because of reasons." Unfortunately it's kinda well hidden as it blends in with the rest of the description. These are the flexes: http://imgur.com/Z0mf1Mz You just need to use them all the way to the max so Tracer's body shrinks to the point where it can no longer be seen under the clothes.

@JboehmGames Nope, my bad, I accidentally packed up an older version of the first materials folder(one that has the head and body) that was referring to older versions of the envmap and detailmap(which aren't there anymore unless you had one of the older versions)

It's missing the eye ambient occlusion texture, makes the eyes have a purple sheen to it.
File that's missing is "models\metssfm\doa\shared\white".

@samork Depends on which version you have, but I think regardless of that, you should be able to export your animation from SFM, update the model, then import the animation/pose on the newly loaded model, and it should be good. You'll lose keyframe locations on rig elements(like rig_hand, rigSpine2, etc) but the actual animation will still be there.
If that doesn't work out, you can always re-install the old version that works for your project until you finish it, and it should be fine.
