Russia has delivered many good tidings to the world of men, but a reason to see that Hugh Jackman movie about robot-boxing (without the kids, anyway) was not exactly what we had in mind. Alas: Here arrives 29-year-old Olga Fonda in Real Steel and, come November, in Breaking Dawn — that vampire-boy movie we will not be seeing with or without children. And let us tell you something: She is really fricking cute. A model, yes, but the kind who gets cast in Crazy, Stupid, Love as much for her beauty as a radiance not often produced on these shores — the kind whose scene gets cut but still ends up in the trailer because, well, she's that fricking cute. The concept of robot fighting, I thought, could be fun. Metal is flying all over the place. On the set of Real Steel , I didn't see the actual robots that they built, but — I don't know — that's something I would love to see in the future.

I really loved the Twilight books, and I was just very excited to be part of such a big franchise. It's a small part, so I didn't get to work with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, but the rest of the team — they have a lot of fun with the new film.

I've got a Rubik's Cube. There is a — what do you call it? — there is a way to make it all colors. There is a strategy to it, which, — I don't know — it takes my mind off other things, because you really have to concentrate to put it together and figure it out. I've done it a few times, but it takes me awhile.

I like games, and I like building things. I just bought a car that I'm trying to build. Like a toy car. All those little details, you have to look at a map — not a map... instructions, I guess. If you mess up, you have to take it all apart. I find it theraputical. You can just come back to it. Right now I'm doing tires. The tires are about the size of my hand.
