SETECA began in 1929 as the Central American Bible Institute, located in Guatemala City. Its original purpose was to train pastors and leaders for the churches in all of Central America.
SETECA has been preparing leaders for the church for 96 years. It is one of the largest evangelical seminaries in Latin America, offering a broad variety of study programs to over 1,000 students.
