My brother and I are planning a trip to Vegas first week of February, for four days. As we come from a traditional family, ideally we are looking for a two bedroom suite of a sort but dont know how feasible that is! Could you suggest a hotel thats quite central that may offer such accomodation? We are looking to spend upwards of $200 a night. Do you think this is feasible or should we get two seperate rooms? We would greatly appreciate any suggestions! Thank you!
You won't find a suite for $200 or less anywhwere on the strip. Since you said $200 does that mean if you have 2 rooms that each can't be over $100 each? if so, that may be hard to do. Best thing to do is go to various hotel websites and put in the dates you want and see what you come up with. You can also check out fatwallet for specials.
No matter what you do, best book soon or you might be left out in the cold!
I may be wrong, but the 2-bedroom suites I can think of are at the MGM (Skylofts in particular) and run many times $200 a night. A one-bedroom suite is more common. Most rooms are available with two beds.
Why not look at somwhere like the Carriage House on Harmon..They are close to the Strip (behind the Aladdin) ?
They offer timeshare type apartments that can be rented on a night by night basis, most apartments have room to sleep up to 6... and their prices are very reasonable.
It might be worth thinking of something like this rather than a hotel...
Thanks guys! There's alot of helpful info here. I was thinking of spending between $200 to $300 for a hotel room. We may end up getting a one bedroom suite and my younger brother can bunk on the sofa bed, muahahaha! Or just get two seperate bedrooms. Thanks for the suggestions!
Best rates would be 2 separate rooms.
You say the first week for Feb for four days. Be very careful as the 1st Weekend in Feb is Superbowl Weekend and the room rates are going to be very high.
It will cost less, and be more convenient, to get 2 separate rooms.
The most central lower rate, but decent, hotel is Ballys. Ballys rooms are fairly large, and many are remodeled. Has a monorail station, and is connected to Paris
Paris and Planet Hollywood are also very central, at a little higher cost, and both are very nice
That week, a 1 br unit at MGM Signature falls in that price range, very large room with full kitchen, king BR and a sofabed

I have been married for 5 years. Our sex life was very lusty and fulfilling when we first met - but it soon settled down to having sex once a month after a drink.

So I waited until next time pretended I was asleep again - but this time half way through I just pretended to wake and asked him what he was doing.
He came up with every excuse under the sun other than admit to what he was doing. He was distraught and said he would cut his hands off before touching me without my consent in that way again. I was very upset that he was getting off on this kind of sex preferring that to the loving intimate adventurous sex life I was trying to get back. He promised it would not happen again.
Now I cannot relax and feel I daren't have a drink in case he does those things and I get that horrible sinking feeling again the next morning. As I see it he would rather jump all over me and enjoys the fact that it is without my consent or involvement. Our sex life, or lack of it, really is not a problem but what he did when I was in a deep sleep does.
I cannot fathom out why he says he has such a hang up about sex, but can have sex with me when I am asleep.
Please help this resentment is destroying my respect for him and I feel raped and violated and have told him so. I feel I cannot confront him again about this. I got nowhere last time.
He gave me empty promises saying he would never do it again. Does it make me just as bad because I am aware it is happening and have not confronted him about it this time?
Am I consenting in a way? I am 34 and my husband is 40.
