“I am completely shocked,” the pregnant Counting On alum, 25, said in a Friday, November 18, YouTube video. “I 100 percent thought that it was a girl, convinced myself that it was a girl [and] Austin thought it was a girl, so I was like, ‘It’s definitely a girl.’ … It’s crazy. Anyway, I’m so happy [and] I can’t believe it.”
Duggar and Forsyth, 28, found out the special news with a dart game , where they tossed arrows at a row of balloons that had been filled with blue confetti and powder. The twosome were joined by members of their large brood , including son Gideon, 4, daughter Evelyn, 2, her parents — Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar — and sisters Jill Duggar and Jana Duggar .
Joy-Anna — who married Forsyth in May 2017 — confirmed last month that she is pregnant.
“We are ECSTATIC and cannot wait to hold this sweet baby in our arms in May [2023]! We would appreciate your prayers these next 7 and [a] half months for a safe pregnancy and delivery,” the TLC personality said in a YouTube video on October 5 . “Keep up with our new videos as we tell Gideon and Evelyn, our parents and siblings.”
While the Arkansas native and Forsyth love doting on their little ones , they’ve also been candid about their fertility struggles . Joy-Anna suffered a pregnancy loss in July 2019 , later revealing that they named their stillborn daughter Annabell Elise.
Joy-Anna was expecting Annabell at the same time that sisters-in-law Kendra Duggar (née Caldwell), Abbie Duggar (née Burnett) and Lauren Duggar (née Swanson) were also pregnant.
“Meeting the babies, I feel like that may be hard,” she told Us Weekly exclusively in November 2019 . “But it’s not like I’m upset that I’ve lost my baby. I still am excited for them. But you think, ‘What would my baby look like? What would she be like?’”
Joy-Anna continued at the time: “But I was praying that the Lord would help me be excited for them. And I can honestly say that … I’m super excited for them. But I try and ask them a lot how they’re doing, how they’re feeling because this is an exciting time. They have little blessings that they’re adding to their family.”
Kendra, 24, shares three kids with husband Joseph Duggar , while Abbie, 32, welcomed baby No. 2 with John David Duggar in October. Lauren, 30, for her part, shares Bella with husband Josiah Duggar .
Joy-Anna revealed eight months later that she was expecting her rainbow baby. Evelyn was born in August 2020.
“To say my heart is full is an understatement,” Joy-Anna and Forsyth told Us in a statement at the time . “We have been dreaming of this day and are so happy to announce that our baby girl arrived. … She has the best personality, is easy going and loves to be held! She has her nights and days mixed up, but honestly, I love it! Getting to spend that quiet, quality time with her through the night has been SO special!”

American model Ayda Field said her sex life with singer Robbie Williams, who she married in 2010, is 'completely dead'
Ayda Field has said that her sex life with husband Robbie Williams is "completely dead" and that she can't remember the last time they went to bed together.
The American model, 43, married the Take That singer, 48, in 2010, and the couple share Theodora Rose, 10, Charlton Valentine, eight, Colette Josephine, four, and Beau Benedict, two.
Because of their busy parenting lifestyles and Robbie's snoring , Ayda joked there is no time for a sex life.
She said they would be better off sleeping in separate rooms and using the bed for table tennis.
"I don’t actually remember the last time I went to bed with Rob at the same time," Ayda revealed.
“When there was romance, when that happens, yes, there would be a communal sleeping place just out of physical need."
The star added: "But now that that’s completely dead. It’s been obliterated by four kids. There is really no need to go to bed at the same time. It’s just a joint work space now.
"I might as well make the bed like a ping pong table and we could just play every now and then. And stray off into other corners to sleep."
She added on her Postcards from the Edge podcast that he snores which didn't used to happen in the 'early days'.
Ayda would try to shove him or 'thump him' but he would go right back to snoring.
"I have some girlfriends who are like, ‘Just sleep in a different room’," she added about alternatives.
"But then I think, ‘God, then we’re officially just roommates. We might (as well) be brother and sister’. Like, I’m just holding on to a thread with this joint sleeping place."

Only several months ago, the Rock DJ singer said his wife gives him 'everything he wants' in the bedroom' which has helped him move on from his days of sex, drugs and rock and roll.
"[It's] amazing for somebody built like me - to put it in vulgar terms - a sh**ger. She gives me everything I want," Robbie said.
"I don't mean sex-wise. My thing in the 90s was sex with strangers, I didn't know whether I'd be able to give that up.
"I was saying to her last night, it's really special that we're around a lot of really good-looking people, all the way through the summer - and I feel no longing to be up to the nefarious stuff."

Actress Candace Cameron Bure says in a new interview that she doesn’t expect her new network, Great American Family, to follow Hallmark’s lead in featuring same-sex couples.
The Wall Street Journal asked if Great American Family would include LGBT couples as plot leads, but Bure said it would not.
“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core,” Bure said.
Bure’s comments come as Hallmark prepares to break new ground with its first-ever movie featuring a same-sex storyline as the focus of the plot. The movie, The Holiday Sitter , will air on Hallmark on Dec. 11 and tell the story of two men who fall in love.
Great American Family, which launched last year as a Hallmark rival, is featuring 18 original Christmas movies this holiday season as part of its annual “Great American Christmas” event. One of those films, A Christmas … Present , features Bure and actor Marc Blucas.
Great American Family has embraced the faith community, Bure said. A song by Christian singer Matthew West, titled Come Home for Christmas , is the theme song for the Great American Christmas event.
“My heart wants to tell stories that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them,” Bure, an outspoken Christian, told The Wall Street Journal. “I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment.”
Bure isn’t the only former Hallmark star to find a home in Great American Family films. Others include Daniel Lissing, Jill Wagner, Cameron Mathison, Jen Lilley and Danica McKellar.
Great American Family was launched in 2021 by former Hallmark executive Bill Abbott and is available on major cable and satellite outlets as well as on streaming platforms such as FRNDLY.
“For me, she’s the key piece of what we’re doing,” Abbott said of Bure.
