Sex Education is my fav show. I was so excited to find this soundtrack. Not a bad song on it. I'm mildly obsessed

Great Intro To Ezra’s Music
I should say up front that the only reason I have given this album 4 stars is because the Amazon- delivered version was missing the last four songs promised (Devil or Angel, At the Bottom of the Ocean, Splash of Light and The Queen of Hearts). Otherwise, this is certainly a 5-star album and a particularly good introduction for anyone not familiar with Ezra’s work. Of course, it is a little disappointing that (as far as I can make out!) there are only 8 of the 19 songs (on the full album!) that haven’t been released elsewhere. Of these songs, particularly good are the slow ballads (the Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door-like and extremely angry!) Every Feeling, Care and Amateur (‘I’m an American, I like to think that means real democracy’), whilst I’m Coming Clean, La Madrugada and If Only the Wind are peppered with typically sublime Furman melodies. Elsewhere, previous albums/EPs are represented: The Year of No Returning (Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, The Queen of Hearts), Day of the Dog (My Zero, At the Bottom of the Ocean), Perpetual Motion People (Restless Year, Body Was Made, Can I Sleep in Your Brain?), Transangelic Exodus (Love You So Bad), Songs by Others (Good Book (a Melanie cover), I Can Change (an LCD Soundsystem cover)), Big Fugitive Life (Splash of Light). Furman still seems to be going from strength to strength, whether in the form of the 2019 punk album Twelve Nudes or the music written for this TV series. She (that’ll take some getting used to!) even finds time to act as guest DJ for Marc Riley on BBC 6 Music – something that’s well worth checking out!
Superb album. Amazon on the other hand were a real let down. Delivered a week late. I still give the album 5 stars

Happy that I pre-ordered this album on vinyl for only a tenner. Fantastic songs. Gets better with each listen.
