A man from Østfold is accused of ordering a baby doll which is anatomically-correct imitation of underage girl. According to Norwegian Police Intelligence (Kripos), 30 men in Norway have ordered such dolls.
This is the first time in Norway somenoe is charged of having ordered a sexualized baby doll, according to NRK . The case will be processed in Fredrikstad District Court in October 2017.
According to the accusation, the man ordered in October 2016 “a silicone doll with a sexual expression, and in size and appearance of a child”. He is also accused of having held abusive pictures and videos. In addition, he reportedly sent messages with sexual content to girls under 16 years old.
According to Kripos, 29 other men between 18 and 60 years from several Norwegian counties have ordered similar dolls.
-In several cases, the men confirmed that they have sexual interest in children,” said Axel Wilhelm Due, communications adviser at Kripos.
British Daily Mail previously reported that the dolls were designed by a Japanese businessman who admitted he is sexually attracted to children. The sexualised dolls, which resemble children as young as five, are sold via the Japanese website to paedophiles across the globe.
Paedophile who sells child-like sex dolls insists he is an ‘artist’ who is saving children by giving perverts an alternative to abusing real boys and girls.
– I am helping people express their desires, legally and ethically. It’s not worth living if you have to live with repressed desire,’ he told the Atlantic.
Both in the UK and Austria, thousands of people signed petitions to ban the sale and import of ‘these sickening aids for paedophiles’.

A 46-year-old man found with sex dolls depicting young girls has been sentenced to two years in jail, but won’t spend any time any bars.
Terry John Dunnett was arrested after authorities found a child-like sex doll in a package from China in January last year.
A search of his house in the west Brisbane suburb of Riverhills uncovered another two dolls and child exploitation material.

Dunnett was sentenced after pleading guilty in the Brisbane District Court on Wednesday.
He was the first person in Queensland to be charged with child sex doll offences that came into force in September 2019, the Australian Federal Police said at the time of his arrest.
The court heard he had a pillowcase, posters and pictures on his computer that included cartoon character images depicting children engaging in sex.
The sex dolls were anatomically correct and life-like.
The dolls depicted girls aged about four, five and between eight and 10.
One was blonde and wearing a floral dress, while another was brunette and wearing pink.
The doll found in the shipment represented a girl aged about four years old.
When interviewed by police he admitted buying the dolls between 2014 and 2020, spending about $400 on the third one he had recently purchased.
He also admitted using his laptop to access child exploitation material.
The court heard the dolls could desensitise people and did not prevent them from offending in the future.
Judge Orazio Rinaudo said imprisonment seemed to be the only sentence that could be imposed.
“It is a heinous crime to be involved in sexual exploitation of children,” he added.
Judge Rinaudo said a psychologist report stated Dunnett was a low risk of actual offending against children.
He said Dunnett showed remorse by co-operating with authorities.
“You now understand that possession of these dolls and other items was wrong,” he added.
“You hopefully will get the necessary treatment to ensure you are not involving yourself in this type of offending in the future.”
Judge Rinaudo sentenced Dunnett to two years in jail, suspended immediately.
He will subject to probation for two years.
At the time he was charged, the AFP stressed the seriousness of the offences, saying such dolls could desensitise people to the harm caused by sexual abuse.
" ‘You now understand that possession of these dolls and other items was wrong.’ "
“These dolls are not harmless and do not prevent people from offending in the future,” AFP Assistant Commissioner Northern Command Lesa Gale said in February 2020.
“The Australian Federal Police will pursue any form of child exploitation or activity that reinforces the sexualisation of children.
“This includes sexual acts using items depicting children such as these dolls, which are legally considered child exploitation material.
“This arrest highlights the commitment undertaken by the AFP and its partners to protect children and identify and prosecute anyone who seeks to exploit and harm them.”
