A TEACHER accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student and sending him X-rated Snapchat videos has been arrested.
Talia Warner allegedly drove the boy from a sporting event to her home in Minnesota, US, and sexually assaulting him.
The 23-year-old has been charged with second-degree child sexual assault, use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, child enticement, causing a child over 13 to view or listen to sexual activity, exposing a child to harmful material and two counts of exposing genitals to a child.
According to the criminal complaint, another teacher and several students at Somerset High School alerted officials about the sexual relationship, River Towns reports.
The lad initially denied anything had happened when questioned, but later admitted he and Warner had swapped explicit pics, texts and videos on Snapchat between October and December last year.
Over the course of those months, the health teacher is believed to have sent around ten pictures and videos to the boy.
One video allegedly showed her performing a sex act on herself.
The complaint also states that the boy told cops he and Warner and been in her car in November, where there was "kissing and sexual touching".
On December 14, 2018, the pair had sex at Warner's home in White Bear Lake after she picked him up from a basketball game.
Warner joined Somerset High School in September 2018 as her first permanent teaching job.
Somerset School District officials said Warner was put on leave during an investigation earlier this year, and she resigned her position in mid-February.
In a statement on Friday, the school district said: "The District has learned that one of its former employees, Talia Warner, has recently been charged with several crimes related to actions allegedly taken toward a minor."
"When the District first learned of the potential allegations, Ms Warner was removed from the classroom and the District undertook a full investigation and has cooperated with law enforcement through this process.
"Ms Warner resigned from employment with the District effective on February 11, 2019."
If convicted on all charges she faces over 70 years in prison and more than £150,000 in fines.
