It's a bit upsetting to change sex as well, while I am switching between "Ash" and "Ember". Gender change operations are costly and my body is not same as it used to be. Wouldn't it be nice if any suit could just be changed to Male/Female, when you start the game and are able to choose your gender?

I wouldn't mind such a thing at all(Maybe a possible cashshop item?).
Personally I never play female character in any games where it isn't the only choice(Metroid/Tomb Raider/half of the Warframes).
But I believe the devs have said that the frames are more akin to a MOBA game's characters(LoL Champions) then a direct represenation of yourself. So it's not as if you are one person putting on a different warframe(as preferable to me as that would be) but you choose to use a totally different individual when you change frame.
To conclude: Would be nice, but I'm not expecting it.

Yeah, you're not just a cross dresser. You're getting a bonafide sex change every time you put on a new warframe. LOL!

You are not playing a suit but the person inside of it. You play different characters. Otherwise they wouldnt have different names dont ya think ^^

Seconded. I have my issues playing female chars.
I somehow cant get the feel of impersonating someone with breasts
Sex (model) change for all warframes would be appreciated, albeit i can think how much work that would involve.

The notion that we're playing a specific individual rather than wearing a suit makes no sense to me since we can gather blueprints fr the purpose of constructing the Warframe. Unless Tenno are robots, this whole gender locked Warframe design doesn't really work with how frames are built....
I for one would rather have a gender option for each frame.

Think of the suits as weapons. People name weapons don't they?

corrently farming for rinho parts, dos it bothers me that hes a male? a bit yes, dos it stop me from wanting to play him? no it dosent, if you like a class, then go for it, maybe in the future they will add some option but kinda doubt it as they short on idea wich can be seen with excalibur and nyx with are practicly the exact same model shaped diffrently.

You go out and rescue a Tenno (Defense Mission, Mobile Defense, Rescue...). You also go out and collect materials. The Lotus takes care of the Tenno you freed (Either Nick Naked or Samantha Skintight), and slowly unfreeze them, get them up to speed. Meanwhile, you drop of the materials with the blueprints and the funds to combine them at the Lotus. Those then take all that jazz, grow the suit for the Tenno you freed. When it's all done, the Tenno reports for duty, as your buddy. Before you go out on a mission, you decide which agent you are sending.

I am a man inside my ember. I asked them to remove the breastplate, but they said they didn't have the time, the galaxy needed me out there fighting the vile grineer, and the monstrous infected, and the inhumane Corpus.
As I left the med bay I swear I heard the tech's laughing behind my back.
But the Lotus says gender dosn't matter to a true Tenno, and they're just jealous because me and my Ember have liberated way more systems than those eggheads.

^ meaningful contribution to a meaningful thread. That hasn't been discussed a thousand times over. Yes genders for every warframe would be nice. No, DE don't seem to be heading in that direction at the momment.
Some of us will just have to be crossdressers. I am ok with this.

DE are too dodgy from this issue! Hell, i want to see them going as far as exploring Tenno sexuality and contriversial stuff like &*$$sexuality and transgenderism!... Go DE, we give you our full support to express yourself, don't be afraid to upset your fan-base and talk about mature stuff! (I'm not asking you to put sex scenes in the game, god no, but to explore the possibilities in a Sci-Fi way! Please don't be coy and show us your game!)
