First off, I'm a 63 year old DJ, and I'm not a prude. I own seven of Enrique's previous albums. I bought the Deluxe version of "Sex and Love". But I have to ask myself why someone with so much talent and so much to offer the world, has to resort to the vulgarities so often associated with pop music these days? That's why I gave it four stars. Unnecessary innuendo, and questionable lyrics. Mr. Iglesias should consider that not all his listeners are the youth of the world, looking for titillation. I won't go as far as someone else did, and refer to Enrique as a pervert...but more likely, he's the victim of his handlers, that have convinced him it is necessary to slip into this technique, to remain popular. Now...on the other hand, I do feel that it is a pretty darn good album, with several danceable songs on it. This may sound contrary to my earlier statement, but most of my audience is over fifty...and I doubt they will be listening to the lyrics. They will enjoy the beat and the sound. They will dance to it. In my opinion, the best cut is the duet with Marco Antonio Solis...without a doubt, my favorite Latin artist...bar none. I especially enjoyed the Bachata version of "El Perdedor". I would like to see both Iglesias and Solis each make a Bachata album. Overall, "Sex and Love" is a good album, that could have been better...
Sex and Love (Deluxe)
I bought the Sex & Love cd d'Enrique Iglesias and first, really don't care about the title; it could have been better. The songs that I like are mostly in the Spanish language because this is where Enrique thrives. Enrique is very sensual when he sings in Spanish eventhough I don't understand some of the words but I love listening to "El Perdedor", "Loco", "Bailando" regular versions and my most favorite is "Me Cuesta Tanto Olvidarte". I also like "There goes my baby" very upbeat and refreshing when driving in the traffic in the morning (makes me want to dance). I don't care much about vulgarity, please stay away from it. The rap music I am sorry to say it, is not for Enrique. My review about this CD is very good and will give it a 4.5 stars not 5 stars because of some vulgarities in the cd. Enrique needs to trust himself about his talent and should not be afraid to sing alone means less featured guests unless he has too. Enrique needs to focus more on using his natural and beautiful voice not simulated through electronic devices just look at his father, Julio Iglesias, who uses his powerful voice to convey his message of love and happiness. Enrique go back to who you are and don't let people influence you because you're good.
I originallly bought the songs Bailando and El Perdador and returned to get the whole album. I don't like ALL the songs--just some--but here is my feedback. With a name like "Sex and Love" of course there will be some sexual lyrics. I HATED the video for "I'm a Freak" and thought it was a frat boy fantasy not what a woman looks for in a romantic video--but the song itself is catchy and I like to listen to it. I love all the Spanish ones excapt I don't like the Bailando remix as much--too electronic and modern. I don't like the electronic sounding ones as much and I actually prefer the Spanish songs but overall I like 2/3 of the music on the album. Enrique's tenor voice is smooth and sensual. I hope he does a little more with acoustic instruments in future like El Perdador and less rap duets or electronica. But overall five stars from a middle aged female.
Bought this for my wife and I ended up liking it ! FYI I like hard rock and heavy metal
I purchased the physical CD of this album. I love this CD. There are probably 2-3 songs I am not big on, which is why I gave this 4 stars. I have to love every song on an album to give it 5 stars. This CD has a really good mix of slow and fast songs. Your woman will appreciate this CD as you dance with her to these songs. Guys just get this album, you will thank me later.
I have about six of Enrique's CD's, and while they are all different, I've enjoyed them all. This one is a personal favorite right now. (We listened to it so much that it started skipping in places so we bought another!) Most of the CD is lively and upbeat with fun sexy music that makes you want to move, even at home in your living room or driving down the road! I am not into the club scene but some of the songs remind me of that kind of music. Enjoyed the diversity of the duets as well.
I LOVE it! Ordered this CD and with the order it came with the MP3 version. I am able to listen in the car and on the go! basically where ever I have access to my phone or a computer!!! Anyone who has been with me know that I love this album because I am constantly listening to it! Currently listening to the MP3 version as I am writing this review!!!!

Excellent album, EI has done it again!
When I first heard this album, I thought it was a bit too modern and "electronic" for me. However, like so many EI tracks, they get under your skin and you can't stop singing along to them. There are some very modern, "club", dance type songs ( I love You and I), and there's the absolutely fabulous, (Enrique at his best), slow ones like El Perdedor which is my favourite. While I prefer classic Enrique songs, I think this is an album which has something for everyone, and EI's creativity and collaborations should definitely bring him some new fans and there's just about enough classic Enrique to satisfy his old ones . I do hope that EI doesn't leave his routes too far behind as his voice has such passion and feeling, it has to be shown to its best. I was a bit surprised at a "Chipmunks" like rendition in "Still your King" but now happily sing along to it. There's probably only one track that I can't get into, and that's "Physical" with Jennifer Lopez, sorry, I know there are many that love it. All in all, a great album and well worth the purchase.

Enrique excels in his new album
WHOW is all I can say about this amazing collection of songs. The albums has the best of everything, slow songs so beautiful, modern songs that just make you wanna dance and ding. The duets are just brilliant with PitBall, Kyle, FloRida and two brilliant Spanish duets. I play the album every day beginning to end,over and over. Enrique is an amazing artist and this just shows how talented he is. I gave every one of his albums .The delux album is worth the extra money. Every song on this is fantastic and unlike a lot of albums you don't have to skip a single track.
I like Enrique's voice: it's exciting and has feel, and can emote a story and drama. But, sadly. this CD doesn't let his vocals free to do that and appears drowned by too much heavy beating and electronic-influenced arrangements; I just wish there were numbers on this CD that would set his vocals free to full expression. Was he trying to do something different? Maybe, but it didn't quite work for me. Barry

Enrique Iglesias new album
This artist never ceases to impress. His music is always top notch and really good, whether he sings in Spanish or in English. I love the duet with Kylie Minogue, entitled "You're Beautiful", but I like all the songs on this album. He always has interesting music. This album is somewhat graphic in a subtle way on the side of sex. The title says it all. I like the whole album.

Love Enrique? Then you will love this album!
This album has been slated by the critics for too many tracks where Enriqie colaborates with other artist for example Pitbull and that he needs to move his music forward and reinvent himself . However personally I love the collaborations and find the whole albulm very enteraining and one of his best in recent years - if you like Enrique you won't be disappointed.
