Thankfully during my trip I was able to get my bag again about a week later. So I place an appeals for baggage delay. The value they would give is dollars max. The catch is the traveler has to keep all original receipts during the time the baggage was delayed. I understand that Seven Corners trying to prevent insurance fraud but I really think that if the traveler can at least prove the baggage was delayed, depending on length of time the traveler should be qualified maximum value within reason. Customers that keep receipts or credit card statements can be additionally compensated. The same can be said in other scenarios such as flight delays a default compensation is given depending on delay or missed flights. Second having a customer purchase another insurance on lost baggage should be included in the insurance package in the first place. Why do customers need to purchase more insurance? Its just common sense that lost baggage, flight, and baggage delays can happen during travel. It really sucks thinking a company like Seven Corners should give customers a peace of mind especially after going thru problems as we travel. Seven Corners should make it easier and giving customers a sense of assurance. By doing so it can improve customers trust in the company. Not only that, they denied our claim without giving a reason. They tried so hard to get away from the situation, I think their intention is to fool you and steal your time until you finally give up and decide to pay your bills on your own. On top of that they are giving me the run around and trying to make me do their job for them by calling all the doctors everyday. I am contacting a lawyer in this point. I got seven corners insurance for my mom. I found this insurance company to be very inefficient. I filed a claim with seven corners and now we are going on with the 7th month without the claim being resolved. Seven corners keep putting the claim in some review, first it was medical review, then something else, now they they say they are in a carrier review or something. No idea what is all that means. In the meanwhile, I keep getting threatening calls from the service provider to pay the medical bills for their service. Seven corners asked me not to pay them till the claim is resolved. Very frustrating experience dealing with this claim. When I finally provided everything so far according to them, they said that they need to contact the clinic where i was treated so thats taking a few days now!! They just dont honor their side of the bargain. Stay away. In the medical records, they indicate a 1cm lump in the right breast, left breast pain, and other negligible less than 1cm lumps in the left breast. The size of a lump that is measured can give some indication as to how long the lump has been there, if it is benign or malignant, etc. Did it not fit your cenario? The denial was initially triggered by a medical review that determined this lump existed prior to the effective date of the policy. These conditions do not need to be known, manifested, treated for, etc. Also, it was indicated that there was a known history of lumps in your breast; with that a determination can be made that you have experienced breast pain and lumps prior to the effective date of the policy. At this point I have to assume that the insurance compoany does not want to pay up for the exact scenario for which we took the insurance from them. This is deceptive business practice, period.
