Diane is the love interest of King in anime/manga series The Seven Deadly Sins . Diane is the Sin of Envy with the symbol of the Serpent, and is also a member of the Giants' Clan. Unaware of King's feelings for her, Diane is helplessly in love with her captain, Meliodas , and gets extremely jealous when Meliodas shows affection toward other women such as Elizabeth Liones and to regular sized girls due to her height.

Being a Giant, Diane is shown to be incredibly strong. She was able to punch the ground and use the ground to stop a horde of bugs from destroying a town. She has also shown to have great endurance as she was able to resist Gilthunder 's lightning and even break free from it. As Matrona (normal human size), she possesses incredible physical strength and speed which she displayed during the fighting festival's preliminaries by defeating more than ten men very quickly.

It's eventually revealed that she met King when she was a child 700 years ago. She found him collapsed at a riverside with no memories of who he was and she took him in until he got his memory back. However, King erased her memories of their time together after he had to turn himself in for his "sin" of not doing anything to stop his friend Helbram from killing humans for 500 years. Later, Diane regains her lost memories and she realizes that the one she truly loves is King, not Meliodas.

Diane is a powerful but kind giantess who fights to defend peace and justice. Plenty of anime characters are on the same wavelength.
The Seven Deadly Sins is an action shonen series whose star, the powerful Meliodas , is part of a seven-member crew, the eponymous Seven Deadly Sins. This gang includes the crafty wizard Merlin, the proud warrior Escanor, and the charming giantess Diane. Fans soon learn that Diane has a huge heart to match her titanic size.
Diane is somewhat unusual among the giants of Megadozer in that she always favors love and peace over warrior honor and battle. She is no coward, but she is reluctant to shed blood, and Diane would rather use her earth-manipulation techniques and giant hammer (Gideon) to defend her friends than destroy things. She may remind fans of a variety of similar anime characters who share one or more traits with the good-hearted giantess.
Just like Diane, Katara is a good-hearted fighter who can control one of the classic Greek elements - in this case, water instead of earth. Katara is a loyal and protective member of her team in Avatar: The Last Airbender , just the way Diane will always rush to protect her fellow Sins, especially her good friend King.
Katara, like Diane, is always ready to use her magical abilities in combat without fear, but she doesn't actually enjoy battle and violence. Ideally in Katara's opinion, no one will ever have to fight, and powers such as bloodbending should be used only in extreme emergencies. Diane would agree.
Aside from not being able to control the earth under his feet, Ichigo's good friend Chad in Bleach is remarkably similar to Diane of the Deadly Sins. Chad is also a rather tough and large fellow, and he has learned to never abuse his natural strength and toughness.
Like Diane, Chad is more interested in shielding his friends and allies from harm than hurting other people, and he has thus come a long way since his bully days. Chad is a straightforward but hard-hitting fighter, and he has a gentle heart that contrasts greatly with his sheer size.
Mirajane Strauss is the oldest of the three Strausses , and as a true big sister, she is highly protective of her family and friends, and she derives very little pleasure from fighting. At most, she will get satisfaction from defeating an enemy for the sake of shielding a weaker ally from harm.
That's the same attitude Diane has about combat, and during times of peace, Mirajane loves to savor the little things in life, and she even serves drinks in the Fairy Tail guildhall and acts as a role model. This is similar to how Diane acts in the Boar Hat tavern in between battles.
Dr. Stone's Kohaku relies more on speed and agility than Diane does, but otherwise, the two girls are fairly similar in spirit. Kohaku is always ready to fight to defend Ishigami Village or the Kingdom of Science, but unlike the thuggish Magma, she doesn't identify that strongly with fighting and domination.
Kohaku puts more emphasis on friendship, trust and loyalty than warrior honor, and to her, combat is the means of protecting peace, not conquering enemies. Diane feels that way too, and like her, Kohaku has a wonderful soft side, especially where Suika is concerned.
Maki Oze is a model fire soldier in company 8 , being an expert second-generation pyrokinetic and a former soldier on top of that. She is ready to take on any Infernal or white-clad cultist in Fire Force , and she is a brave and cooperative teammate in any battle. She fights out of duty, not for glory.
Like Diane, Maki is serious in battle, but enjoys peace and tranquility much more. Without peace and happiness to defend, fighting is pointless - and better yet, peace is a time when people can fall in love and have their fairy tale ending. Maki loves to daydream about such things, and sometimes Diane does too.
Jonathan Joestar is a little more uptight than Diane is, but aside from that, they would see eye to eye on many things, such as the purpose of combat. Both characters are highly durable and tough in combat, but they use that strength only to uphold justice and defend peace , not to seek glory in conquest.
Both characters also have a rich personal life, with Diane falling in love with King and Jonathan Joestar giving his heart to the lovely Erina Pendleton in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure , and giving his life to save her own. Not even the most wicked enemies can corrupt Jonathan or Diane.
It is true that the crusader calling herself Darkness has some pretty outrageous hobbies and interests, but unlike the sleazy Kazuma Sato or the bratty goddess Aqua , Darkness really does mean well, and she has her virtuous side. She and Diane would quickly become friends if they ever met.
Like Diane, Darkness would rather fight to defend the innocent than seek glory, and her durable body and high-quality armor make her an effective shield for her allies, which is something that Diane can appreciate. Darkness is also a fairly cooperative and agreeable member of the party, at least by Konosuba standards.
Many shonen leads are cheerful and optimistic people who are loyal to their friends, and that's no coincidence. Unlike antiheroes such as Ichigo Kurosaki or Guts, Jujutsu Kaisen's upbeat Yuji Itadori is always in good spirits, and he loves to have fun and meet people. Diane is like that, too.
Also like Diane, Yuji fights primarily to protect the innocent and defend his friends, such as Junpei. When Junpei died at Mahito's hands, Yuji was devastated and bitterly regretted not getting a chance to save Junpei and give him a career as a fellow sorcerer. That's similar to how Diane would think in such a scenario.
The kind-hearted Alphonse Elric would greatly appeal to other good-natured anime characters, and that includes the giantess Diane, who would see a lot of herself in him. Both characters are large and a bit scary-looking, but they have a gentle heart that ordinarily wouldn't harm a fly.
Alphonse and Diane would agree that fighting is only for self-defense, when negotiations have broken down, or when their friends are threatened. Al can manipulate the earth via alchemy in Fullmetal Alchemist , meaning he can create barriers to shield his friends, just the way Diane does with her earth-control magic.
Although the animal-loving Hero Koji Koda has largely been in the background of My Hero Academia so far, he is still a character worth considering, and it soon became clear that he and the giantess Diane have some serious overlap. Both of them favor peace and joy over violence, but they are no cowards.
Koji may be modest, but he is determined to become a respectable Hero, and he can use his Anivoice Quirk to summon birds, insects, squirrels and more to confuse and overwhelm the enemy until his allies can finish the job. Both characters can fight, but they look forward to the peace that follows a whole lot more.

Best Red Carpet Looks From the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards
The giant Diane is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, known as the "Serpent's Sin of Envy". She was trained to be a warrior by Matrona of the Giant Clan and hired by the Knights of Liones as a mercenary prior to joining the Seven Deadly Sins. She has a crush on Meliodas and tends to get jealous of his infatuation with Elizabeth . Although Diane is absolutely adored by King - who has loved her for centuries - she lost her memories of the time they spent together. Her favorite food is pork, which makes Hawk especially nervous.
