Setting Up Users And Authentication For Our API

For our project, our users will need the ability to create an account and log in to our application. Devise is an excellent authentication system made for Rails that allows us to easily drop-in User functionality into our project. We’ll have to make some changes to our controllers to authenticate with JWT’s since Devise uses session authentication by default. In order to get started with Devise, we’ll need to generate the configuration file which will contain our settings for Devise. This command generates a file in config/initializers/devise.rb which will configure devise when Rails boots. For our user profiles, we’ll also need a few extra fields in addition to the ones Devise generates by default to store usernames, image URLs and user bio’s. Let’s go ahead and create a migration to add those columns to our Users table. This migration creates a username, image and bio fields for our User. Providing the uniq option to username creates a unique index for that column.
Try personalizing your subject lines by using the recipient’s name, if possible. A time-sensitive subject line, creating a sense of urgency, can also do the trick. It will tell the recipients that your newsletter contains useful content or breaking news that they should read straight away. For instance, the subject lines that both Flipkart and YourStory Buzz use are bound to pique the readers’ interest. Once these newsletters land in the reader’s inbox, the subject lines intrigue them enough to make them open the email. As you can see, both of the brands have used emojis in their subject lines to make them playful. Flipkart’s subject line “Psst! Let’s make a plan together? ” makes you want to ask them, “What plan? ”, so you open the email to find out. Similarly, YourStory Buzz’s subject line in the above example makes you curious about the usage of the popcorn emojis.
10 from his own pocket to Ismail as a loan and assured him that the money would be returned to him immediately after Ismail had- left. By this device, according to him, Ismail would be induced to send the money. Accused accordingly gave Rs. 10 and he received back the amount a short while later. Ismail then sent Rs. 10 by money-order to the address of the accused and the latter on receiving the same paid them to Ghanashyamdas. Some support is sought to be taken for this seemingly unnatural story from the statements of P. W. Ramnarain who proves the admission of Ismail that he had to repay a loan of Rs. 10 taken from a clerk and that of D. W. Gopaidas who too proves admission of Ismail to the same effect. This Gopaldas was the scribe of the money-order. 70. The story that Rs. 10 were paid by the accused on the persuasion of Ghanashyamdas, with whom, according to his own statement, he was not intimate in order to enable him to obtain Rs.
