Il y a quelques semaines, on a fait une sortie sur le lac avec Cyril. Arrivés à l' aube au bord de l' eau, on sort le matos, et une fois le zod gonflé, on fait péter les croissants en admirant les belles couleurs que nous offre ce levé de soleil au dessus d' une fine brume... c' est superbe, mais bref, on est venus pour nos potes les pikes ! C' est parti, on commence à peigner le tour des herbiers, Cyril au jerk et moi au shad peu plombé en linéaire lent. Il n' y a aucune activité en surface et les touches se font attendre. Cyril passe sur un soft swimbait, qui subit d' ailleurs rapidement une attaque mais le poisson ne se pique pas, je décide moi aussi de monter ce leurre et un moment plus tard, je me prend une grosse châtaigne en périphérie d' un herbier, le poisson est gros et il donne tout ce qu' il a mais je le met rapidement au sec grâce à ma nouvelle Daiwa Exceler XXH 2.23m qui , soit dit en passant, a une action très plaisante et une grosse puissance pour un prix vraiment bas en plus. Le broc est long et bien gras ! Le mètre indique 1.06m... trop bon, j' améliore mon record personnel de 1 petit centimètre. On fait 3 photos et je le remet à l' eau, good bye brocodile !
On continue motivés comme jamais, on s' applique et le long d' une cassure je prend un arrêt, par réflexe je ferre mais je ne sais pas encore si c' est le fond ou un poisson mais je vois le fil se décaler rapidement et la canne est cintrée, c' est pas le fond ! Je m' exclame " HOP " et d' un coup je vois ce poisson énorme sauter hors de l' eau... je reste sans voix, je déserre le frein et s' en suit un combat de dingue avec je ne sais combien de rush, dans les derniers instants je crains qu' il se décroche, il est tenu que par un seul triple, l' autre s' est décroché... mais Cyril le met à l' épuisette d' un geste sûr. J' explose de joie, je viens de pulvériser mon record d' il y a à peine une heure avec ce poisson, ou plutôt avec ce tronc d' arbre ! Cyril éclate de rire à la mesure, je n' y crois pas non plus, 125 cm !!! J' en rêvais, je l' ai enfin devant moi, une merveille. Photos rapides et il est temps de regarder ce géant rejoindre les profondeurs. Je suis comme un dingue !!
Cyril touchera dans l' après midi deux petits brochets, un au jerk et l' autre au shad. De mon côté j' ai passé le reste de la journée sur un nuage, sans aucune autre touche, mais quelle importance...
