Tonight we will make a major update to the server.
In the last year the bot has continued to grow impressively, just think that in the last year the groups we manage have more than doubled (to date more than 700,000) and the messages that are processed have more than tripled (more than 75 million a day): this has done in a way to put in crisis the resources available in our main server.
We are therefore convinced to make another important investment and tonight, during the night, we will move Group Help to a new dedicated server, which (hopefully) will give us the possibility to make the Bot operational at 100% again, without any kind of lag or reduced at various times of the day.
To be able to transfer everything safely, tonight (starting from 19 August 2021 21:00 UTC) we will have to remain in reduced mode for a few hours: follow GroupHelpStatus and GHReduced for more information about it, we will keep you informed on the operational status of the bot everywhere.
Protections such as antiflood, antispam, antijoin, entry blocks, user controls and everything you need to manage a group will remain online and 100% active: moderation commands (ban, unban, mute, unmute, kick) via reply/id/mention, welcome message, rules and much more.
👉🏻 We recommend adding GHSecurityBot to your groups as soon as possible (if you haven't already).
👉🏻 We recommend performing a /reload in all your groups as soon as possible.
👉🏻 If you need to change settings in groups, do it as soon as possible, as it will not be possible to do this later in reduced mode.
A special thanks, however, in addition to the many users who use our Bot, should be addressed to all those who, albeit in their small way, even at the cost of a coffee, have supported and continue to financially support the enormous work that is present behind a Bot like GroupHelp; we have in fact reflected for a long time on the choice to buy this new server, given the huge cost to be maintained every month (in addition to the initial setup), but we want our Bot to remain a reference point for Telegram, usable by everyone for free and that offers a high quality and constant service.
A big thank you also to all the bot staff, in particular to those who collaborate in the management of the server and to those who spend their time helping others to use the bot to the best.
