That was SERT, SE air filter and Vance & Hines competition slip-ons. They did all the work at Adamec Harley-Davidson of Baymeadows and did an initial dyno run to tune the bike a little richer for the first 1,000 miles.

The Time Sert comes as a kit that includes a special drill bit, the stripped hole gets drilled oversized. I know the Heli Coil gets a drilled oversize hole too but not as large as the Sert. Disclaimer : Don't believe anything I say unless you are absolutely sure that I know what I'm talking about .
The Master Tuner is made by The Turbo Shop (TTS). They made the original Screamin Eagle Race Tuner (SERT) and sold them under contract to Harley-Davidson. They had a "disagreement" and Harley-Davidson pulled their buisness and went to Kent-Moore to make the new Screamin Eagle Professional Super Tuner (SEPST).

The dealerships response has been something on the order of "Well since they arent HD slip-ons (they're Reinharts), we cant flash the ECM and you'll have to do the SERT".

I think your information is a little off. The SERT software that was available when your bike came out was 4.7.7 (build date 10-08-07) or maybe the previous 4.7.6 release. The 4.7.7 version was the last version that HD supplied on the 32117-01N CD. A previous version of the SERT software I have is 4.5.3 (build date 01-24-06).
I bought the SERT for my bike and got the little black contraption, no wires, and no software. I called the dealer, and he said the wires are sold separately... ****ing stupid. The bigger issue is, it didn't come with the tuner software. The dealer says the new kits don't come with the software. Is this true?!

The Time-Sert is a complete sleeve with threads on the outside to thread into the hole and a stop tab to keep the sleeve from spinning inside the hole. For an equivalent kit from Helicoil it will run about $25. That is a pretty big difference in price, but it is also I big difference in engineered product if you ask me.
