Romain GressotBefore 5 a.m.
- After spending some time talking in the kitchen with the others and drinking some wine, everybody went to sleep.
5.30 a.m. - From memory
- I hop off a taxi. I'm now looking for the entrance of the Propaganda Club. Arthemii is about to start djing there.
- The club is almost empty. There must be no more than 20 people there. Anyway, I'm dazed so I dance. At some point I go to the bar and ask for vodka.
- While trying to get another drink I start talking with the girl doing the same thing next to me. She has face tatoos. The drinks are on me, and we go get cigarets. I don't smoke, but it's time to start a new addiction. She pays the cigs.
- We sit around a table in the street. We talk, take pictures. Have a good time.
- Every taxi driver passing by asks if we need a ride. But no.
- She has a place to go to. We exchange telegram contacts. She leaves.
- I go back to the club, and I meet Arthemii. We talk over the noise. I meet a friend of his, Petr.
- We decide to go to another club, witch I forget the name of.
- Arthemii and I go there in his car, after going to a shop, for drinks.
- We arrive at the second club. I get three drinks, and dance. There are not many people also.

- Some Petr friend needs a battery to recharge his phone, so I give him mine.
- Time passes, and the guy gives me back my battery. Petr asks if I want some vitamins. I agree, and we head to the toilets. Three in the same block. One of our phones is taken out and used to put the vitamins on. I take pages from my bloc-notes and make a proper tool for the situation. I insist on them taking the vitamins first.
- When we get out, the guy from the entrance (Is this young skinny guy a bouncer?) is waiting for us. I think, oops, I'm already in trouble? But he just says a few things I don't understand, and that the guys do not seem to care much about, so I go back dancing.
- At some point guys propose to go to another club. I've had other drinks. I agree.
- Sun is up. We hop in a tram, and I get to know more about Petr. He's in Beaux Arts of Moscow. He asked me about anthropology, in more detail than I usually get. He asked for a classic of the field, so I told him about Malinowsky. We get along because he also likes to organise parties and knows some "squat like" places in Moscow.
- The third club is called Aglomerat. Some of the people that were in the previous club go there too.
- I ain't here as an anthropologist, that's for sure. I'm parting, hoping to make friends and contacts for future parties, here, or in Paris.
Around 6 a.m. - Aglomerat club - From memory
- Someone shared another type of vitamins. I'm sitting on the white house, in the dark, while vitamins starts kicking, and I'm looking at the tatoo girl photos on telegram. Too hot to be true?
7.27 a.m. - Aglomerat club
- There is an entry in my notebook. I describe that I'm tired and all over the place... And that if I want to stay, I'll have to get some vitamines. And I remember that while I was about to say goodbye to Petr, he said something like "Ho, so it's sniff or leave, right?", and I got some vitamines.
8.25 a.m. - =
- There is a blurry entry on my notebook. I think I tried to write, while dancing bearfoot. There is only one word comprehensible, written in capitals: Vitamins.
11.04 a.m. - =
- Im still dancing like an idiot. The music is great. Some people speak english so It's fine. Everybody is friendly, except one shady guy, here for shady business.
Around 1 p.m. -
- Wondering in the streets. With the face of a guy that had vitamins. Jaws are probably tight and eyes wide open. I'm in the middle of the normal world, looking for an Atm to withdraw cash.
Around 2 p.m. -
- That's when I make a mistake. I decide to follow the shady guy and two of his boosted friends on a quest for vitamins. I should have accepted the invite of the Dj to have a drink instead. I wasn't thinking straight!
- The other shady guys and I are on a walk to the bank. Cash is put into a machine and transferred to some account. Then the shady guy selects a product on a website on his phone. And we go walk.
- I'm not having fun anymore; it's raining, and I start to put things into perspective: Ok, so, what's happening right now? I've been parting for many hours, in five different places. I'm fucked up in Moscow streets under the rain. I'm following three guys leaded by the shadiest unreliable dude I've met in a long time. The point is to get some vitamins, but I do not know anything about the risks I'm taking. I know that we would probably have to search for the vitamins in some place, like a treasure quest, and I do not want someone to tap on my shoulder while I find it. Also, I'm here, in Russia, to work, and I plan to stay until November. And I've heard that vitamins are no joke here for authorities. So, I let the guys go. And go back to the club. I never heard about the guys again. Anyway.
3.41 p.m. - In taxi
- Back to the club, I start to feels the after effects. It's time to go. I say goodbye and hop into a taxi for a forty-five minutes ride through Moscow trafic jams.
- Flags in the streets for 876th Moscow birthday.
