9.06 a.m. - In front of the hostel

• Waiting for a taxi with the women of the group and the childs.
• Saying goodbye to one of the roommates
• Asking to the young woman of the group who are the different participants to the event. They come from the different regions of Russia.
• The taxi arrives. Steering wheels are on the right side, in Blago.

9.32 a.m. - Amour State University | Амурский государственный университет

• I meet the whole group. They are wearing their reindeer skin closes. Some of them are in fabric, but with similar design.
• We go up the floors.
• Everybody gets into a computer room to pass a Эвенский test (name of there language).
• Waiting in the corridor for them to finish.
• Other groups are also in their "ceremony" (let's say), clothes.

10.14 a.m. - =

• Still in university corridors. It's an engineer school.
• Scrolling through their website (English version). I find an interesting project about "field research of the peoples of the Russian-Chinese borderlands." The summary of the research prompts a lot of questions about the methodology employed for this work, in comparison to a longlasting ethnographic fieldwork methodology.
• One of the adolescents of the group asks me if I ever met a black skinned person speaking french before ("негр")

10.52 a.m. - =

Tamara, that helps managing the group I'm with, gives me the contact of Olga Morozova (Vkontact and phone number). She is the woman I noticed yesterday, that received prices and seemed to take a major part in the management and organisation of the event.

12.21 p.m. - =

• Going to eat. We all go to the university restaurant. I sit with the boy group.
• I notice that at another table, there is also young people, from another "delegation", that I've seen in the hostel I'm staying in.
• One of the older women says jokingly that I'm an big child | большой ребенок. I act like it, yes.

1.42 p.m. - Hostel

• Talking with Youri, before taking a nap.

2.38 p.m. - =

• Awaken by one of the boys. They want to go to KFC. But I have to write.

6.13 p.m. - Hostel kitchen

• One of the boys comes and tells me they are going for an activity on the river. I deny the invite, since I haven't finished writing. This is the kind of moment I was afraid of, with this daily writing: It takes time, and during this time, things happen "on the field".
• I find interesting that social events are organised in an engineering school.

9.03 p.m. - =

• Posted on Telegram.

22.52 p.m. - =

• Went around the block to buy food.
• New roomate
• Youri is talking with the deduchka of the group, Alexeï. URSS nostalgia, where there were no drugs. I mention alcohol, and we laugh.
• I eat. Others joins in the kitchen.
• It's bad presage to put crumbs away from the table in your hands, says Dima. It brings poverty.
• Talking with Dima, Luda, Elif, and Anna.
