Romain Gressot12.20 p.m. - "Novocibirsk-Glavnii"
- Wake up late. Make bed. Not many people in the train. Oftenly, men have some kind of military design on, at least, one part of their clothes (pants, backpack, top, vest, cap...)
1.34 p.m. - Ongoing
- Thinking about differences in flirting here versus France. I would say that in France, there is much more "gaze play" than here. It's hard to flirt with eyes in Russia. It coincides with the difficulties to catch the eye of any unknown person, to engage a conversation. Usually, when meeting a person, I make eye contact, show a welcoming face, and engage with salutations and introduction about myself, etc. When flirting, the watching and eye contact phase is longer: First you see someone you like, the person sees it, and at some point makes eye contact. Then, other eye contacts, more or less playful, and then you walk to the person and start talking.
- Here, I still haven't caught the playing moment. It just seems to me that you see someone you like, you walk up to her (she is near you), and talk, offering a cigarette, a drink or whatever. Strait to the point. So, I'm trying to look for the playing before all that. Maybe there is not, maybe it's somewhere else, or just start when the talking start.
- Also, I don't remember seeing guys going wild on the dancefloor (apart from one that just turned into a kangaroo, probably because of too much amphetamine). No guy making moves, or dancing with girls in a lascivious way. We'll see about dancing when I come back to Moscow in November.
1.45 p.m. -
- I see a lot of trains carrying gas type containers.
- People cross the rail tracks, in family.

3 p.m. - "Bolotnaya"
4.47 p.m. - Ongoing
- Just passed by a train carrying tree tanks. I don't know if I can call them tanks, but they looked reinforced, with chains and a long cannon. Carried in the middle of classic freight wagons.
- We stop around "Taïga" station.
5.13 p.m. - Ongoing
- New people around me. Young guys.
5.46 p.m. - Ongoing
- Reading abstracts of Malinowsky Journal
9.27 p.m. - Ongoing
- Just took a nap. Want to drink. But I ain't sure the young guys are adults. And I don't have a good feeling about them.
