Infant Massage is an ancient parent tradition within many cultures that has been rediscovered and adapted by the western world. Learn how to stimulate the growth and development of your baby while reducing your own stress level. Bond with your baby as you help reduce gas and colic and promote deeper, longer sleep for your little one.
Infant Massage classes are taught individually or in a group, once a week for 4 to 5 weeks. Babies are gradually introduced to massage so they are not over stimulated. Classes last approximately one hour each.
Thai Massage, also known as Thai Yoga Massage, is performed on a large mat on the floor. Client is provided loose, comfortable clothing to wear as the therapist takes them through a series of pres-point work and stretching. The deep pres- sure point work and palm pressing is used along “Thai sen lines” in your body. Range-of-motion and large body stretches are incorporated bringing into yoga-style poses. This is why Thai massage has often been referred to as “lazy man’s yoga.” Thai yoga can be slightly more intense compared to Western forms of massage many are used to but clients have shown incredible results.
Hot Herbal Thai Bundles can be added to any treatment for $30 and are yours to keep!
Smooth, water heated basalt stones become and extension of the therapists hands providing relief from muscle tension and restrictions. Muscles “melt,” and open up from warmth, allowing deeper work without the feeling of the pressure, while sending you into a medative state of relaxation.

Normatec is quickly becoming a leader in rapid recovery. The systems give a competitive edge to the world's elite athletes, coaches and trainers. Mettā's goal is to establish recovery as an integral part of, not only every athlete's training but, in everyday life for everyone through bodywork, as a form of preventative care and recovery. And we feel that NormaTec PULSE Recovery Systems are one of the best compliments to our hands on practice.
NormaTec systems are made up of a control unit and attachments which go on the legs, arms or hips. They use compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid and speed recovery. When you use the systems, you will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the attachments are molded to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, hands or upper quad (depending on which attachment you are using). Each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works it's way up your limb.
Created by a physician bioengineer (MD, PhD) to enhance blood flow and speed recovery, NormaTec PULSE compression pattern employs three key techniques to maximize your recovery:
Pulsing: Instead of using static compression (squeezing) to transport fluid out of the l, sequential pulse technology uses dynamic compression (pulsing). The patented pulsing action more effectively mimics the muscle pump of the legs and arms, greatly enhancing the movement of the fluid and metabolites out of the limbs after an intense workout, long trip or long day on your feet.
Gradients: Veins and lymphatic vessels have one-way valves that prevent fluids back flow. Similarly, NormaTec PULSE technology uses hold pressures to keep fluids from being forced in the wrong direction. Because of this enhancement, instead of tapering pressure off, the PULSE can deliver maximum pressure in every zone.
Distal Release: Because extended static pressure can be detrimental the body's normal circulatory flow, sequential pulse technology releases the hold once they are no longer needed to prevent back flow. By releasing the hold pressure in each zone as soon as possible, each portion of the limb gains maximal rest time without a significant pause between compression cycles.

The Kinesio taping method involves taping over and around muscles in oder to assist and support or to prevent over contraction all while allowing you to remain involved in your normal activities. This specially designed, elastic, cotton tape helps provide facilitation of lymph flow and also affects the activation of the neurological system. Developed by Dr. Kenzo Kase over 25 years ago in Japan it has taken the rehabilitation and sports medicine world by storm in the most recent years.

The word, Reiki, is a combination of two Japanese words: Rei, which means, "a higher power's wisdom," and Ki, which is the energy of life force.
This Traditional Energy healing technique is based on the principal that the Reiki practitioner acts as a channel of energy exchange for the client by means of hand placement and light touch, to activate the natural healing process of the client's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Ease into profound relaxation as your energy flow is assessed, stagnant energy cleared, and divine energy channeled in. Energy flows through the practitioner’s hands through light touch and non-touch methods to improve flow and restore balance. Promotes deep relaxation, activates intrinsic healing capabilities, and connection to the higher Self.
3 Pack of 60 minute sessions (can be used for energy work or guided meditation): $200
Relax and experience Reiki and the benefits associated with balanced energy flow without hands-on methods. Be guided into deep relaxation, a deeper connection to the self, and allow important messages to surface. For the best experience, individuals should be comfortable with unstructured meditation.
Guided meditations can be included in traditional energy work within your session for free, or add an additional 30 minutes of guided energy meditation to your traditional energy work session for $30.
3 pack of 60 minute Energy or Meditation sessions: $200

90 Minute Prenatal Floats are ONLY $30 while you are pregnant
Floating, also known as sensory deprivation, isolation therapy or R.E.S.T. (Restricted Environmental Stimulation Technique) is a form of therapy that has been around since the mid 1950's. It was invented by neuro-scientist, John C. Lily and used to study consciousness and it's relationship to the brain.
Floating triggers a deep relaxation response, much deeper than normal sleep and enables us to drift into an elusive Theta state, which is hard to achieve. Without the distraction of external stimulation of every day life, (light, sound, temperature, gravity) our Central Nervous System's workload is reduced by 90%, enabling us to turn that energy inward and promotes a parasympathetic response. This is the response mechanism that allows our bodies to regenerate and heal itself naturally.
Inside the floatation tank 500 kg of specially formulated salts imported directly from Germany and added to 1000 liters of water, creating a 30 cm deep solution, which is heated to 35.5 degrees C, about 95 degrees Fahrenheit (approximately the temperature of your skin).
The temperature of the water means that once you are settled in the tank, it is virtually impossible to distinguish between parts of the body that are in contact with the water, and those that aren’t.
The buoyancy created by the dense Epsom-salt solution effectively removes the effects of gravity on the body, and brings the individual close to an experience of total weightlessness. Unless you are an astronaut, this is the only situation you will encounter where your body is free from the harmful forces of gravity.
With ear plugs in and, if you wish, the tank’s interior lights off, the quietness and the darkness allow the mind to drift into the deepest state of relaxation possible.
A huge amount of brain power is used every second in order to deal with the strain that gravity places on one’s body but now floating weightlessly your body is perfectly supported by a cushion of silky skin-temperature liquid.
Freed from all sensation of gravity, temperature, touch, sight and sound (which together account for 90% of normal neuromuscular activity), you conserve and redirect vast amounts of natural physical and mental energy.
The ultra-deep relaxation of floating “resets” the body’s hormonal and metabolic balance, strengthening resistance to and accelerating recovery from the effects of stress, illness, injury or strenuous exercise.
With no commands needing to be sent out, the logical side of the brain is rendered redundant, and its activity slows down until it synchronizes with the creative side. This leaves the individual in a dream-like state, akin to the thoughts experienced just before you go to sleep. In this state, the brain releases vast amounts of endorphins.
While the state of relaxation may be deep and profound, the individual’s brain stays dreamily alert. The brain gradually shifts from its usual waking beta state to generate deep alpha, theta or even delta waves, the state-of-mind That Buddhist monks try to reach through hours of meditation and years of training. You can achieve this in a matter of Minutes just by lying back into the silky warm sea of bliss that is the floatation experience!

Registered Dietitians (RDs) are food and nutrition experts who have met the following criteria to earn the RD credential:
The biggest difference between dietitians and nutritionists lies in the legal restrictions that each title carries. Unlike dietitians, the nutritionist profession is much less protected under the law. In fact, nutritionists that do not intend to use the titles of “dietitian” or “registered dietitian” are often free from government regulation. Some states may require nutritionists to obtain an occupational license from a Board of Nutrition, while other states allow individuals to practice as nutritionists without ANY previous education, training or work experience.
