For $31 this was totally worth it. This is better than the koi watercolors and the Cotman watercolors. The colors are moist (with honey), vibrant, and spreads beautifully in water. I’ve only had it for a couple days and have already painted so much with it! This is making me fall in love with watercolors all over again. So nice to have a portable, inexpensive and high quality palette.

I'm a relatively new watercolorist but have tried several brands and sets of colors to find the one that's just right. These are some nice colors though I feel the earth tones are a little on the weaker side in general. The color doesn't pick up as easily as Van Gogh but still reasonably well. The plastic case is nice and I prefer them to the metal tins, but note it does feature that bended plastic closure system rather than a proper hinge mechanism, so over time it could eventually just wear out. The 24 color set offers a nice range and I think this would make an excellent first set for someone new to watercolor, but also a perfectly serviceable set for anyone.
I was so excited for these to come. I had seen a couple of reviews of this and all of them said great things about them. I was slightly disappointed by the fact that when I first opened the palette, a couple of the half pans weren’t fully attached to the slots where they went, so they got mixed up. Luckily, I was able to see which colors went where and they were different enough to distinguish them. If you paint with those loose colors a bit they will sort of cement themselves in the little slots. But after that they worked wonderfully when I swatched them

I am alive wedding painter and I always love this brand. For styled shoots are use this specific pallet, because I don’t want to waste my professional grade on paintings that are not being paid for. They work just as great as the professional set though. I assume the light sadness is justI am alive wedding paneer and I always love this brand. I recently bought a small set of the artist grade Sennelier colors and they were amazing, so I bought these because several previous reviewers said these felt almost the same as the artist grade Sennelier colors. I tried them today, and they feel very different. More chalky, or gritty. Does not have the incredible flow and magic of the real thing. Quite fine for the price, but probably not a good purchase if one wants the real deal.
I saw the review on YouTube from Frugalcrafter and Mind of Watercolor, and they both love Sennelier. It a style of watercolor that I enjoy doing so this is a great set for it. I've left it open overnight and it didn't crack or get dried up. I love that there are lots of mixing wells. You can also remove the top part out to reveal more blank area if you want more mixing area.
I love Sennelier watercolors. They are both luminous and deep. I've been told they have a "chalky" quality to them. I don't have anything to compare them with as I have stuck to this brand. But lovely colors. Very good for mixing your own colors too. And beautiful depth upon numerous applications of the paint.

I’ve been really impressed with these watercolours. I was unsure Which ones to go for but I haven’t been disappointed. Great for layering. Lovely colours. The plastic box is a bit basic but light and transportable. Good price for Senneliar

Poor than expected.
I have been using the Sennelier l'aquarelle artist 's grade colours which are really very great, so i though of buying the Sennelier student grade la petite 12 Tubes set for regular works, practicing etc. But to my utter disappointment these are not even half as good as the artist's grades ones. Although the price is not very less. They are chalky and pale and only few of them mixes well. Gives a feel as if some white has been mixed with the colors.. But the box and inbuilt palette is good. If someone is looking for pale pastel watercolour then go for these. Otherwise winsor newton cotman or the camlin Artist watercolours are better options.

Nobody cares for quality these days
Sennelier watercolors are one of the best around. I wanted to give it as a gift so I ordered. And let me remind you they don't come cheap. So when it arrived on time I was very thrilled. And opened it to check its contents and I was shocked, shocked like those Indian soap operas where the camera zooms into the guy like 5 times with dramatic music. The outer pack of the box was very bad, in very bad condition, torn in all corners. And the box was broken from corners, it was impossible to give as a gift, had to return it. It's really sad that due to carelessness of the shop the product gets a bad review and let me tell you these are really good paints no doubt about that.

schöne farben
ich mag die farben sehr sind zwar nicht die billigsten und recht wenig so ein halbes näpfchen aber man kann damit sehr schön layern und diese transparentz ist echt sehr schön sie sind zwar student grade aber nicht schlecht dafür schöne leuchtende farben sennelier ist allgemein bekannt für die transparentz der farben und das kann ich nur bestätigen der kleine pinsel ist auch nicht der schlechteste aber auch nicht der beste die mischmulden im deckel sind nicht aus porzellan aber es lässt sich auch gut darin mischen es sind grössere und kleinere mulden im deckel anfangs waren die farben lose herum kugelnd im kasten das war nicht so das tolle aber mit wasser festigen sie sich bald wieder im dafür vorgesehenen platz mulden näpfchen der gummi unterm kasten ist gut zum halten und in der mitte ist ein platz für eben einen pinsel und oder bleistift ich habe mir einen qualitativeren reisepinsel gekauft und der passt auch zusammengesteckt da hinein eventuell hatt auch noch ein blei platz dann brauch ich nur noch ein wasserglas und kann damit super auch im freien malen für skizzen unsw sicher ein gutes set ich mag es

Great Paints for a Beginner
I bought these paints for card making and to experiment with water colour, after painting with other mediums for years. For student paints the colours are quite intense, with no chalkiness and work best on 100% cotton paper. There is enough colour choice in the 24 selection without being overwhelming for a beginner, as well as pigment information on the box (you can compare this with the artist quality paint info on the Sennelier website). I love the creamy texture of these honey based paints and they are a great introduction to water colour painting. The only disadvantage to this set is that the paints are not in pop-out half pans, which would make it easier to replace each colour when they are used up. Instead you would need to use tube paints to fill the empty well. But for me it is the paints that are more important than the container and they perform really well. I'm very happy with my purchase.
