In this Senior Sizzle review, we’re going to take a close look at what it’s like to use SeniorSizzle.com for yourself. You want to know if it’s a legit dating site, if you can get real dates from it and if a subscription is worthwhile.
You’re in the right place because I’m about to cover all of that and more. Ultimately, we want you to spend more time on real dates and less time testing new sites. Not to mention the risk to your credit card with some of the dodgy sites out there.
With all the social distancing that has been happening over the past few years dating has changed, a lot. Many older women have stopped meeting guys in crowded public places and are only using dating sites and apps now. Single men need to be doing the same unless they want to miss out on a lot of opportunities!
Let’s start by looking at the process I use to test each of these dating sites.
To avoid that, I have a standardized process that I use for each one. This has been a great way to make sure we treat each site and app fairly and still get great results (if possible) .
Initially, I create a free account, only filling out the mandatory details. After that, I just let it sit for a day or two. What I’m looking for here is the potential spam I might receive from other profiles.
On a fake dating site, it’s very normal to be hit with multiple messages from “women” who want to chat to you already. Since no real person would ever message an empty profile, it’s an easy red flag to check for.
After that, I’ll complete my free profile with a good bio, photos etc. Now I’m trying to set up as many dates as I can with a free account.
After one to two weeks of this, I’ll upgrade to a paid account and spend several weeks using it . I want to use those paid perks first-hand so I can really evaluate if they’re worth the money. Getting hands-on with these things is how we go about putting together such a helpful review.
Now, let’s get into what I found while trying to complete this process on SeniorSizzle.com.
You’ll see for yourself from the screenshots in this review, the site template is dated if nothing else. It also gives off a number of red flags that it’s probably a scam site.
Believe it or not, though, this site is actually legit. Still, that doesn’t always mean it’s worth your time on money. Before I get further into that, let’s take a look at a high-level comparison between SeniorSizzle.com and AFF .

After doing a full review of Senior Sizzle we can say that it was pretty surprising. It has a pretty decent and easy to use design, there are a lot of people on the platform, and it’s easy to use. We didn’t have quite as good of results as we did with other similar sites but it was pretty solid.
As I’ll explain soon, the privacy and security on this site is pretty great and I saw it first hand.
For many of these dating site reviews, I’ll set up a fake profile. It’ll still be complete and look entirely real but it’s not my personal photos or information. I don’t want my articles to influence the outcome as I set up dates.
After a couple of weeks with a free profile, we upgraded my account to the premium one as usual. The next day, I attempted to log in and start chatting with women on the site only to find this message:
My account was no longer active. . . uh-oh. At first, I couldn’t be sure if this was a scam site where they delete your profile after taking your money. It seemed unlikely given that they’re part of the Friend Finder Network so I reached out to their support team.
A couple of days later, I received a response from the AFF risk management team. They were requesting verification of my credit card and driver’s license. Say what you like about the site’s poor design (and I will, next), at least you know they’re looking out for your safety.
The downside for this review, of course, is that I have limited screenshots to show you since I got kicked out!
Particularly as someone whose account was deleted after upgrading to premium, this was a little frustrating. But also a good thing for the site’s users, let’s not forget that. It’s a very good thing, just not for me.
Still, sometimes you want to get a feel for what the site is like before you go handing over your money. Unfortunately, these sites heavily restrict your access until you upgrade.
About all you can really do is look at some profiles and chat with people via Messenger. That means you can only chat to a handful of users while they’re online and active.
Take a look at the below screenshot as an example. As the heading suggests, it’s a filtered view, showing only the profiles I could view with a free account.
Given the apparent size of their user base, to be limited to seeing just four profiles is a little extreme but understandable.
Since this site is even part of the Friend Finder Network, my suggestion is to simply cut out the middle man. Go straight to their primary website, AFF , where the real action happens.
Rather than hanging out here and jumping through the hoops I have, invest your time in a real site. My experience on AFF has been several dates within about 24 hours with minimal work — so long as you take the time to set up a proper profile and engage.
No matter how good or bad a dating website might be, we still need to look at things objectively to really judge it. In the case of Senior Sizzle, the bad outweighs the good but it’s still important to take a look at both. If for no other reason than to better educate yourself on what a poor site looks like.
Now, back to the Senior Sizzle dating site review.
You don’t need to be a web designer to see this site is severely lacking. Credit where it’s due, it’s functional and somewhat intuitive but it’s still hard on the eyes.
With that said, you really can’t go judging a website by its appearance alone. Some of the most dangerous sites I’ve reviewed had a good looking template.
Let’s look at a few other shortfalls that brought me to my “not worth it” conclusion.
Generally speaking, having a bunch of messages in your inbox the moment you create an account is a red flag. So much so that part of my dating site review process is built around testing for that.
SeniorSizzle (and its replicas) are different in that regard. While you will sign in for the first time to see several messages in your inbox, they aren’t spam. Instead, they’re what the network refers to as “Icebreakers.”
Basically, a user can write a canned message and specify the types of users they’d like it to be sent to automatically. The messages you’re receiving are just that — pre-written messages from real users.
The reason you’re receiving them isn’t because a person looked at your empty profile and thought you were hot. It’s because you met the criteria they defined. The right gender, in the right age range, looking for the right things, etc.
Last but not least, it’s time to cover the most frequently asked questions about dating sites in general. Hopefully between the three reviews of this template I’ve managed to answer all of your questions.
No matter what, remember the most important question is “is this site worthwhile?” The answer is that checking out AFF is probably a better option.

I think that 99% of the accounts on this dating app are fake...before to buy the subscription you have a lot of activity and action which I think is made with fake account by people who run the app...after you buy any subscription is like you find your self in middle of the dessert...
