Our company is called DataSakura, we are engaged in outsourcing development and support of well-known mobile games from the Zeptolab and Halfbrick studios.

Mission: provide outsource development services that would feel like high-quality in-house work.

Senior UI/UX Designer

is needed to participate in game development project for famous gamedev studio.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Work with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, agile development environment to deliver/maintain aesthetic and usable interactive experiences that keep the user’s focus on the content rather than the interface itself.
• Create and track art related tasks for user stories.
• Prepare interface and menu sketches, style guides, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and finished products.
• Concept and create pixel art assets for in-game use, either from high res concept or from initial pixel art sketch.
• Meet with producer/team lead to gather requirements for user stories.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a UI or UI/UX Designer/Artist in gamedev industry.
• Ability to design visual interfaces when given user stories, use cases, concepts of operation, or requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design involving both UI and UX requirements.
• Proficiency in digital tools used to implement UI/UX designs (including, but not limited to Adobe Photoshop, Unity).
• Experience designing UI/UX for mobile apps.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional development teams.
• At least Upper-Intermediate English.

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• Experience coding in basic CRUD script.
• Experience in designing mobile apps for both iOS and Android.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
