Position
We're looking for someone passionate about designing great user experiences. In this role you will collaborate with our product management, design and engineering teams to design and build a suite of tools enabling third-party developers to build rich virtual assistant experiences on the Viv platform. We want to change the way software is developed and you will help bring that vision to life. The ideal candidate has extensive experience as a UX designer and loves creating simple solutions to complex interaction problems.
Your qualification
- Energy, Energy, Energy! You are excited about our vision and want to collaborate with our team to design and build an amazing product
- Portfolio and 3+ years experience demonstrating a deep expertise in a user experience design, usability trends, and consistent delivery of successful web or desktop experiences. Comfortable, fast and intentional in the creation of: user flows, information design, interaction design, user research, usability testing, wireframes, interactive prototypes
- Passionate about user empathy. Experience designing and conducting end-to-end user experience research to support persona creation as input to design decisions
- Familiar with standard practices for user experience testing and able to coordinate with testing staff to ensure testing aligns with research goals
- Loves to live in the details and is comfortable moving between details and high level systematic planning and thinking
- Familiarity with standard design and prototyping tools: e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision
- Wants to be a sponge for learning new approaches to software development and excited to design the tools developers will use to build powerful virtual assistant experiences on the Viv platform
- Experience working with fast-paced teams that use iterative engineering methodologies like Agile/Scrum
Will be a plus
- Motion based prototyping tools
- Familiarity with standard software development tools and processes is highly desired. Some experience building software is preferred
