About the Role
Automoves is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to own organic growth end-to-end. You will set the SEO strategy, drive content and on-page execution, and turn search into a predictable acquisition channel. This is a senior individual contributor role with real ownership: you define the roadmap, prioritize what moves rankings and revenue, and are accountable for results.
What You'll Do
* Own the SEO strategy and roadmap: keyword and topic research, competitive analysis, and quarterly organic growth targets.
* Lead content SEO: build topic clusters, write and review briefs, and work with writers to produce content that ranks and converts.
* Run technical SEO: site audits, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and internal linking, partnering with engineering on fixes.
* Manage on-page optimization across the site: titles, metadata, content refreshes, and information architecture.
* Develop the off-page program: digital PR, link acquisition, and authority building.
* Track and report performance: rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and revenue attribution, with clear monthly reporting to leadership.
* Stay ahead of search: algorithm updates, AI-driven search (AI Overviews, LLM visibility), and evolving SERP features.
What You Bring
* 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a track record of measurable organic growth you can walk us through.
* Deep command of both content and technical SEO; you can brief a writer and debug an indexation issue on the same day.
* Expert-level use of core tools: Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar crawlers.
* Strong analytical skills; you make decisions from data, not hunches, and can build your own reporting.
* Working knowledge of HTML, structured data, and how CMSs and site architecture affect SEO.
* Excellent written English; you can edit copy for clarity and search intent.
* Self-directed and accountable; you thrive remote with minimal oversight.
Nice to Have
* Experience optimizing for AI search surfaces and answer engines.
* Background in [industry/vertical] or B2B SaaS.
* Basic SQL or scripting for SEO analysis at scale.
