Our client is a globally recognised transformation specialist operating exclusively within the Life Sciences sector. With a strong international presence and a track record of delivering large-scale SAP programmes for leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and medical technology organisations, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for complex digital transformation initiatives.
As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior SAP SD / Logistics Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes across global supply chain and commercial operations.
This position offers exposure to international projects, modern SAP technologies, and complex business processes within a highly regulated industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead business workshops and requirements gathering sessions across Sales, Distribution, and Logistics functions.
* Design, configure, and optimise SAP SD solutions covering Order Management, Pricing, Deliveries, Billing, and Returns processes.
* Drive the design and enhancement of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes across global operations.
* Support and optimise logistics execution processes, including Handling Unit Management and Batch Determination.
* Design and manage integrations between SAP SD, Warehouse Management solutions, and external logistics providers.
* Collaborate closely with Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver integrated business processes.
* Support all project phases including solution design, testing, deployment, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilisation.
* Provide guidance on SAP best practices, process standardisation, and solution architecture.
* Contribute to global SAP template development, international rollouts, and business transformation programmes.
* Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and continuous optimisation.
Your Profile
* Minimum 8 years of SAP project experience with a focus on SAP SD.
* Strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution and end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.
* Hands-on experience with Handling Unit Management.
* Experience with batch determination processes within sales and logistics environments.
* Strong understanding of SAP SD integration with warehouse management solutions and third-party logistics providers.
* Proven delivery experience on SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or transformation programmes.
* Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, including integration
* Experience leading workshops and engaging directly with business stakeholders.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Medical Technology, or other regulated industries would be advantageous.
* Fluent English.
