Why is this role important at Infobip?
The Quality Chapter is included in the development of products from just an idea to the product ready for our customers. Quality Control Analysts are always thinking about risks and asking themselves what could go wrong with proposed changes to the product – and take/suggest preventive measures so such risks are mitigated. A critical point of view is a crucial part of this role, along with the ability to talk about issues in a clear and diplomatic way.
What will you get to do?
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will be included in one product area and collaborate with different roles included in crafting our products. During development, you will continuously work with engineers as the product is forming and provide a clear feedback on the implementation and its state. You will be a member of the Quality Chapter, an international organization assembled from testing specialists like yourself, focused on assessing the quality of the entire client-facing product catalog.
You will:
- Test product ideas before starting implementation (point out unclarities in requirements, test the design prototype)
- Understand the impact a new requirement (or any change) can have on the current system (matrix of services and dependencies, identifying critical paths)
- Define quality criteria for the product and identify risks threatening them
- Apply testing practices for a particular context
- Test implementation and report on the product and testing state
- Prioritize and report issues with clear „steps to reproduce“ and expected behavior
- Discuss improvements of a product with a clear business/user value proposition
- Monitor and interpret product analytics data
- Closely collaborate with different roles such as Product Manager, Product Designer, UX Researcher, Software Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, etc.
