We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer who understands that QA is not just about finding bugs—it’s about creating robust automation solutions to ensure our product consistently meets high standards.

In this role, you will lead the design and development of scalable automation frameworks, enhance test coverage through automation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Job Responsibilities

• Automation FrameworksCreate, improve, and maintain reliable test automation frameworks.
• Add automated tests to our CI/CD pipelines to get fast and clear feedback on product quality.
• Collaboration & PlanningWork with product managers, designers, and developers to set goals and define requirements.
• Lead test processes for big, complex projects, making sure the whole team shares knowledge and best practices.
• TestingPlan and run detailed test strategies, including automated regression testing, based on project needs.
• Find, report, and track software defects, following them through to resolution and retesting.
• Risk Management & TroubleshootingSpot risks to software quality, suggest ways to prevent problems and monitor for new issues.
• Perform tests after each release or update, and help with investigating any new problems that appear.
• Mentorship & ImprovementMentor junior QA engineers and share best practices for test automation.
• Keep up with the latest QA tools and trends, and bring them into our processes where they can help.

Required Qualifications

• Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of direct experience with test automation.
• Previous experience as a senior or lead QA is a plus.
• Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium.
• Familiarity with SQL for data-driven tests.
• Experience setting up automated testing in CI/CD pipelines and using version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
• Understanding of Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• QA ExpertiseGood knowledge of the software development and testing lifecycles.
• Proven ability to create, maintain, and run automated test cases carefully.
• Strong skills in debugging and problem-solving.
• Communication & TeamworkExcellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work well with different teams: product managers, engineers, designers, and others.
• Additional PlusUnderstanding of WordPress and its ecosystem.
