The roleYou own the performance and lead generation side of the agency end to end. Strategy, full funnel architecture, technical implementation, optimization, and reporting. Your job is to make sure that the money our performance clients spend in paid media converts into measurable business outcomes, and that we can prove it.Your portfolio will include accounts across several verticals, each with very different mechanics:Financial services lead generation (mortgage), where compliance, lead quality, and CRM nurture matter more than raw volume.Automotive multi-brand performance, where dealer level funnels, inventory ads, OEM co-op rules, and market reach reporting are part of the daily work.Global DTC eCommerce, where ROAS, post-purchase LTV, and multi-market campaign management matter.Local retail and home goods lead generation, where geo-fenced campaigns, store visits, and local intent capture are the game. You should be comfortable telling each of these clients a different story, in their own language, with their own KPIs. You should also be comfortable building the technical scaffolding (tracking, attribution, automation) that makes all of it measurable.
What you'll do
Strategy and full funnel architectureDesign full funnel paid strategies (top, mid, bottom) for each client, mapped to business outcomes, not just platform metrics.Build media plans, channel mix, and budget allocations across paid social, search, video, programmatic, native, and email/SMS where applicable.Define KPIs at each funnel stage (CPM, CTR, CPL, MQL, SQL, CAC, ROAS, LTV) and forecast realistic ranges.Identify when to invest in awareness vs. acquisition vs. retention based on funnel diagnostics.
Lead generation and CRM integrationBuild lead generation campaigns across Meta Lead Ads, Google Search, LinkedIn (when B2B applies), and native platforms.Design lead capture infrastructure: forms, landing pages, instant forms, qualification flows.Integrate paid platforms with CRM and marketing automation (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Customer.io, Klaviyo, or equivalent).Design lead scoring, routing, and nurture flows in coordination with sales or client teams.Track lead to customer conversion and feed that data back into platform optimization.
Automotive and high vertical performanceManage multi-brand automotive accounts: dealer level funnels, vehicle inventory ads (Meta, Google), dynamic remarketing.Coordinate with OEM co-op funding programs and compliance requirements (brand specific creative rules, attribution windows, market reach reporting).Work with dealer inventory feeds and CRM platforms common to the auto space (CDK, vAuto, DealerSocket awareness).Report on dealer level metrics: VDP views, lead form fills, phone calls, walk ins where attributable.
eCommerce and DTC performanceManage ROAS driven campaigns for DTC brands across Meta, Google Shopping, TikTok Shop, and other commerce surfaces.Handle multi-market and multi-currency campaign management for global brands.Coordinate with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce) and email/SMS retention tools (Klaviyo, Postscript, Attentive).Optimize for full LTV, not just first purchase ROAS.
Tracking, attribution, and data infrastructureImplement and maintain server side tracking: Meta Conversions API, Google Enhanced Conversions, server side GTM.Design event taxonomies and tracking specs (clean, scalable, future proof).Build attribution frameworks appropriate to each client (last click, data driven, MMM lite, incrementality testing).Manage first party data flows and Customer Match audience uploads in compliance with platform rules.Coordinate with developers when needed for site, GTM, or backend tracking implementation.
CRO and experimentationIdentify landing page and funnel bottlenecks using session recording (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity) and analytics.Design and run A/B tests on landing pages, forms, and ad creative.Apply statistical rigor: minimum detectable effect, sample size, significance.Coordinate with the creative team for ad variant generation tied to performance hypotheses.
Reporting and analyticsBuild executive dashboards in Looker Studio (or equivalent), connecting platform data, GA4, CRM, and post purchase data.Deliver weekly and monthly reports with clear insights and recommendations, not just numbers.Explain attribution trade offs and uncertainty clearly to clients, including non technical stakeholders.Maintain documentation of tracking setups, audience definitions, and campaign architectures for each account.
What we're looking for6+ years of performance marketing experience in an agency, in house growth team, or hybrid.Demonstrated full funnel ownership across multiple verticals (not just one channel or one client type).Hands on implementation of server side tracking (Conversions API, Enhanced Conversions, server GTM).Strong hands on experience with at least one CRM/marketing automation platform (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Customer.io, Klaviyo, or equivalent).Fluency with the major paid platforms at advanced level: Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube), LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads.Comfort with Google Tag Manager (including server side), GA4 implementation and reporting, and Looker Studio.Demonstrated experience managing $USD media budgets at scale (six to seven figures annually).Analytical rigor. You can spot when attribution is lying, when a test isn't significant, when a winning ad is actually a tracking artifact.Fully bilingual at a professional level (Spanish and English), written and verbal.Reliable home work setup: stable internet, quiet workspace, professional video for calls.Self managed. You set the pace, run the function, and bring problems with proposed solutions, not just problems.
Plus, and these matterWe don't expect any single candidate to have all of these, but each one is a meaningful differentiator:Automotive performance experience (multi-brand dealer groups, OEM co-op, inventory feeds, market reach reporting).Mortgage or financial services performance experience (Special Ad Category compliance, LOS familiarity, long sales cycle nurture).International eCommerce experience across multiple markets and currencies.Programmatic / DSP experience (DV360, The Trade Desk, StackAdapt).Native ads experience (Outbrain, Taboola, Yahoo).Affiliate marketing background or partnership channel experience.Marketing mix modeling, incrementality testing, or geo lift testing experience.SQL at basic to intermediate level for data pulls and validation.Comfort with AI tools for creative variant generation, audience research, analysis, or automation.Prior agency experience with multiple concurrent accounts across verticals.
