Senior Mobile Growth & Monetization Manager — Part Time / Fractional

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: App66 Amazon DSP Agency

Remote | Part-Time | Consumer Android Apps
Compensation: $6,000–$8,000/month + performance bonus
Expected commitment: approximately 50–70 hours/month
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Growth & Monetization Manager to help us scale a portfolio of Android consumer apps monetized through a combination of subscriptions and advertising.
This is not simply a Google Ads management role. We are looking for someone who can understand the complete mobile-app economics — from acquisition and retention through to ad revenue, subscription conversion, LTV, CAC, and profitable scaling.
We already have apps generating meaningful revenue and are prepared to invest significantly in user acquisition where the economics justify it. Your job will be to identify which apps, campaigns, and countries can be scaled profitably and improve the monetization of the portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Own growth and monetization strategy across multiple Android apps
* Analyse acquisition performance by campaign, country and user cohort
* Manage and optimise Google App Campaigns / UAC
* Calculate and monitor CPI, CAC, ROAS, LTV and payback periods  Build D30 / D60 / D90 cohort profitability analysis
* Analyse D1, D7 and D30 retention and identify opportunities to improve it
* Optimise subscription funnels: install → trial → paid → renewal
* Improve paywalls, onboarding, pricing, trial structure and subscription conversion
* Analyse subscriber churn, cancellations, refunds and renewal rates
* Optimise AdMob monetization, eCPM, ARPDAU, ad formats and placement
* Identify the maximum profitable CPI/CAC for each market
* Determine which geographies and campaigns deserve additional budget
* Run structured A/B tests and monetization experiments
* Create clear weekly reporting showing where we should increase, reduce or stop spending
* Develop a strategy to materially increase portfolio contribution profit
Experience we are looking for
We want someone with strong hands-on experience growing consumer mobile apps, ideally apps monetized through both subscriptions and advertising.
You should be comfortable with tools and concepts including:
Google App Campaigns, Google Ads, AdMob, Firebase/GA4, Google Play Console, RevenueCat or similar subscription platforms, AppsFlyer/Adjust, cohort analysis, LTV modelling, subscription monetization, paywalls, A/B testing and mobile attribution.
Experience with BigQuery or advanced analytics is a strong advantage.
Most importantly, you should have previously helped scale mobile-app acquisition while maintaining or improving profitability. We are particularly interested in candidates who have managed monthly acquisition budgets in the tens of thousands of dollars or more.
What success looks like
We do not measure success by installs or revenue alone.
Success means:
profitable growth.
We want to know, for example: We acquire a user for $X, that user generates $Y over 30/60/90 days, and therefore we can safely increase the acquisition budget by Z%.
The successful candidate should be able to tell us exactly where additional capital should be deployed and where it should not.
Initial engagement
This will initially be a part-time / fractional position, approximately 10–20 hours per week.
We are open to expanding the role depending on results.
We would prefer to begin with a paid trial period, during which you will analyse several existing apps, identify the biggest growth and monetization opportunities, and produce a clear scaling plan.
Location
Fully remote.
We are particularly interested in experienced candidates based in the UK, Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Turkey, and wider Europe, although exceptional candidates elsewhere are welcome to apply.
To apply
Please send:
* A brief summary of your mobile growth/monetization experience
* Examples of apps you have worked on
* Largest monthly user-acquisition budget you have managed
* Examples of apps or campaigns you have scaled profitably
* Experience with subscription apps
* Experience with AdMob / advertising monetization
* Tools you regularly use
* Your availability and expected monthly or hourly rate
Please also answer this question:
Tell us about one mobile app you helped scale. What was the acquisition cost, how did you calculate LTV, and what changes did you make to increase profitability?
Candidates who only have general digital marketing or ecommerce experience without significant mobile-app experience are unlikely to be a fit.
