Protected Media is a cybersecurity solution for fighting online advertising fraud. Protected Media’s multilayered ad protection technology lets clients pay only for real users, clicking real clicks, and performing real installations. Clients can rest assured their ads are properly located, visible, and seen by real people.

We are looking for a JavaScript developer who will catch fraudsters online. In this role, You’ll research web-oriented attacks on online advertisers by using JavaScript to detect them. You will read browsers’ source codes and perform in-depth JavaScript analysis so we could profile bots.

Team:

Headquartered in Israel, the team works remotely. Your teammates are located all over the world, including Ukraine.

Your direct manager will be Zac Sadan CTO. Previously the Chief Scientist at Cyren (Nasdaq:CYRN), Zac brings world class academic and hands-on expertise in information and reputation systems. Zac has been holding key research & innovation roles in the security industry since 1999. Zac holds a PhD in Information Systems from Bar-Ilan University. Check out his LinkedIn.

You should be TOTALLY passionate about: 

• Your actions will have an immediate impact on hundreds of millions of users in real-time. 
• High scale production environment (several Billion requests & 6 New! TB per day), Cybersecurity, and Big Data Analysis. 
• You should be ready to take Full ownership — by being the architect, designer, and coder of your project, and should be ready to move fast — deploy to production several times a day affecting 100’s of millions of users.

You will tackle challenges with: 

• JavaScript (vanilla, no specific frameworks required, interrogating the most recent features of browsers in order to detect fraud) 
• Google Cloud 
• AeroSpike 
• SQLs for analyzing billions of transactions per day
• You will use Python and Golang occasionally

Your profile : 

• You have over 6 years of developing experience with multiple languages, platforms, and environments.
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• You are very experienced with JavaScript — Must
• Experience with Java/GoLang- a plus 
• Real-world security experience is welcomed, including tracking and investigating cyber threats.
• You are experienced with high scale/big data while handling Real-Time and performance challenges.

Flexible working hours with regular daily calls.
