Senior Java Developer

CyberCube delivers data-driven cyber analytics built specifically for the insurance industry. It is focused on solving the most difficult and important cyber risk challenges in insurance with world-class analytics.

The CyberCube platform was established in 2015 by Symantec to apply the cyber security company’s unique sources of data, intelligence and expertise to cyber insurance analytics and now operates as a standalone company with continued access to Symantec data and resources.

Right now CyberCube is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team onsite in Tallinn, Estonia.

Tasks:

• design, develop and maintain high-quality code for highly complex components
• take ownership of features across the entire development lifecycle
• assist in setting technical product direction by analyzing industry trends, competitive information and product requirements
• provide directions to a team according to established procedures

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience with designing and implementing complex software systems and data models 
• Expert level of Java 
• 3+ years of knowledge of servers, networking, and storage components and their integration
• Experience with open-source tools and operating in a CI/CD development process
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields 
• Advanced level of English 

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with AWS services. Knowledge of EC2, S3, RDS
• Proven expertise in building and managing data platforms
• Experience in working in startups
