Spotware Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer in Cyprus office (full-time)

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science
• Solid experience with unit testing
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience working in Java Developer position
• Strong J2SE programming skills Multi-threading (Executors, locks)
• Understanding of Collections framework and it’s pitfalls
• Experience with Spring Web and Spring IoC
• Experience in TCP/IP networking and sockets programming (Netty nice to have)
• Strong experience with SQL
• Skills in a high performance and low latency environments
• Strong analytical skills required to solve complicated technical problems

Will be a plus:

• Netty
• Redis
• PostgreSQL
• Protobuf

Responsibilities:

• You will work within Java Team on the development of new server-side products.
• You will be communicating with the Product Manager, Client-Side Developers, DevOps and the DBA team.
• Clear specifications and requirements will be provided to you by the Product Manager and there will be strict plans and sometimes deadlines to follow.
• You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
