Senior IOS Developer

We are seeking a talented Senior iOS Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable iOS applications that align with Shipox's product vision and user requirements.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative features and functionality for our iOS platform.

3. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment.

4. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.

5. Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to improve user experience and overall application efficiency.

6. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and web services, ensuring seamless data synchronization between the iOS application and server-side systems.

7. Stay up to date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and frameworks, and proactively propose improvements to enhance the development process and application quality.

8. Troubleshoot and debug application issues, analyze crash reports, and implement timely bug fixes.

9. Actively participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS application development, with a strong focus on Swift and Objective C.

2. Proven track record of developing and maintaining complex, high-quality iOS applications available on the App Store.

3. Extensive knowledge of iOS SDK, Xcode, and related development tools.

4. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, design patterns, and best practices.

5. Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.

6. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control systems (e.g., Git), and agile methodologies.

7. Familiarity with backend technologies and server-side integration.

8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and optimize code.

9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.

2. Familiarity with mapping and location-based services frameworks, such as MapKit or Core Location.

3. Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.

4. Published open-source contributions or personal projects in the iOS ecosystem.

- SaaS on Java, Spring, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Solr, Redis, ScyllaDB and hosted on AWS

- Zabbix, Sentry, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, AWS CloudWatch, Grafana + Prometheus
