Senior Front-End Developer (React/Angular)

REMOTE /PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT /FULL-TIME

Access Softek started developing software 30 years ago in Berkeley, California. Now, we have offices all over the United States and around the world, and are growing by the day! Our software is in use by over 350+ financial institutions, helping them to reach millions of customers and shape communities across the country. In addition, we have a technical development and consulting division that works for companies like Google, Sony, and Nintendo.

We are looking for a Sr Web Developer, a self-directed team player for our Conversational Banking team. We build and service customer and user-facing applications for live chat, video chat, and contact center.  

This position is remote, full-time, and requires some periodic overlap with Pacific daytime hours.

What you will be doing:

• Design, architect, and develop Access Conversation Live chat and Contact Center web application, including major new features and technologies
• Perform continuous maintenance of the application and the underlying platform
• Work with UI/UX designer and Product to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
• Work collaboratively within Scrum or SAFe framework with other team members and teams.
•  to design and build out features: code and tests
• to fix bugs and test code

What you should have:

• A passion for pushing technology to build an awesome user experience
• 3+ years of web application development experience
• Strong knowledge of ECMAScript 5+ and TypeScript
• Fluency in one or more of the following frontend JS frameworks: React/Angular/Vue ( we use 1 React 2. Angular) 
• Strong skills in HTML/CSS and CSS preprocessors (LESS/SASS/PostCSS)
• Experience working on one or more shipped consumer web apps with over a million users.
• Good understanding of UI/UX designs best practices
• Proactive, self-directed, and highly collaborative spirit 

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• Writing webpack config
• Creating or supporting chat applications
• experience with building web Accessibility
