Responsibilities:

• Participate in period-end closing including but not limiting OPEX, Cross-sector charges, MJE, Period closing KPIs ;
• Calculating accruals and reclasses and posting of monthly journal entries through Blackline system required per US GAAP and internal procedures;
• Preparation of Blackline Balance Sheet GLs reconciliations;
• Provide local management with analytics;
• Forecasting & Corrective Action Planning –To manage a reliable forecasting process for GS and Admin departments that accurately reflects new developments and changes in the business environment.
• Support EMEA Regional enquiries;
• Close collaboration with GS team and Regional/Corporate teams, support with analytics, support with different business & administrative initiatives;
• Administration & maintenance of period end closing schedule in BlackLine & other systems
• Administrative questions – maintenance of PO in EMP system, review of vendor  contracts in request navigator, participation in corporate insurance renewal process
• Ensure SOX compliance of financial activities: preparation of SOX documents, SOP creation, revisions and update in the frame of responsibilities;
• Participation in external and internal audits;

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Economy;
• Preferably from 3+ years of similar experience in Finance or professional experience in Accounting;
• Strong Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS standards (preferably ACCA/CIMA/CMA, DipIFR student or member);
• Participation experience in internal and external audits;
• Excellent computer skills (advanced user in Excel, SAP, Power Point;
• Fluent English (written, oral);
• Strong analytical skills, numerate;
• Result and customer oriented;
• Ability to work under tough deadlines;
• Strong communication skills, team player;
• Self-driven, proactive;
• Open to permanent further development.
