Senior Devops Engineer (GCP)

DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and practical experience with Azure DevOps 
Key Responsibilities: 
• Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure. 
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, integrating with Git repositories, build agents, and deployment strategies. 
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or equivalent IaC tools. 
• Monitor and improve application performance, availability, and reliability using tools like Cloud Monitoring or Azure Monitor. 
• Implement DevSecOps practices including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and policy enforcement. 
• Develop solutions for automated scaling, failover, and disaster recovery. 
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to streamline deployments and reduce lead times. 
Skills & Experience: 
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, etc.). 
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, Boards). 
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager. 
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell). 
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, especially GKE). 
• Experience with CI/CD design and implementation for microservices architectures. 
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL technologies 
• Experience implementing and maintaining security best practices and tools on GCP, ensuring the protection of our applications and infrastructure 
• Effective communication and collaboration to work with development and IT teams across multiple time zones 
Nice to Have: 
• Certification in GCP (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) or Azure (e.g., DevOps Engineer Expert). 
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architectures. 
• Background in security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA).
