Game of Whales ‘The most innovating solution for game developers’ is looking for a Senior developer (Node JS) to join our dynamic team.

Game of Whales is a holistic AI based solution for games developers to maximize players Lifetime value and reduce churn. Game of Whales collects data from the games, analyzes, learns and generates predictions of users’ behavior and Lifetime value propabilities, that helps the game creators maximize their game potential.

We work with the gaming industry leaders, processing hundreds of millions of users and billions of in-game events every month. In our work we face a large number of interesting and challenging tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Development, support and optimization of web-service code (Node.js)

Requirements:

• good knowledge of JavaScript and understanding Node.js principles
• experience with development of back-end solutions based on Node.js + NoSQL (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Cassandra and similar)
• work experience with high-load projects
• ability to understand someone else’s code
• team work experience
• work experience with VCS (Git)

It will be great if you have work experience with:

• ES2015-2017 specification
• json-schema validator, async/await
• ElasticSearch
• Cassandra
• static typing (FlowType/TypeScript)
• message passing components S2S (RabbitMQ) C2S (socket.io)
• server-side test writing
• code functionality (lodash/underscore/ramda)
• game development sphere
