Senior DevOps Engineer

Description:

One of the largest divisions of the British retail company in Brno, which provides comprehensive development, support and testing services in all IT departments of the company, is looking for Senior DevOps Engineer with experience of 4 years.

The company's production system processes 100 million messages per year.

The main goal of all integration systems is to create services capable of supporting data exchange within the entire corporation.

Brno is the second largest city in the Czech Republic after Prague, in the center of which you will find a comfortable modern European office and an international IT team of 150 people.

Requirements:

Knowledge and practical experience of continuous integration and delivery tools
Experience with technology in Linux-based environments
Good knowledge of Java, PHP or another corporate programming language
Introducing Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins
Basic understanding of operating systems and their administration
Fluency in English

What to do:

Control, support and optimization of the CI / CD platform based on the Jenkins pipeline and Atlassian stack, Artifactory and Ansible
Development of an automation library and utilities to speed up the CI / CD pipeline and code quality reviews in Sonar Qube
Development and design of the Jenkins custom library for a specific CI / CD procedure for use in all projects and improving process standardization
Interaction with other projects and products, helping them to fully use the functionality of the DevOps platform and receive their feedback
Regularly updating or creating basic documentation about the CI / C process

Good to have skills:

Experience writing scripts in Python or Ruby
Introducing SCRUM or Kanban
