 DESCRIPTION:

As a senior cloud and infrastructure engineer (m/f) in our ProductCore team you will co-own the CI/CD infrastructure our developers work on as well as cloud operations of all services that power our marketplaces for RV rentals.

 You love to code for setting up and enhancing any infrastructure and defining the CI/CD pipeline and hate to use UIs for the same task.

 You strive to increase the performance of our development teams by continuously enhancing our CI/CD pipeline, maximizing parity of our environments in collaboration with developers, optimizing our toolset for testing and monitoring and basically automating every chore that keeps our developers from designing and coding.

 You enjoy coaching agile development teams regarding DevOps best-practices and best-of-breed tools.

 You help out our backend developers with coding when you need a break from infrastructure and cloud operations.

 You own system administration of all internal business systems including services provided by vendors for Accounting, Payment, Invoicing, CRM, Collaboration, HR, VoIP, etc.

 Your greatest love is cloud operations of our polyglot and containerized services on AWS including pro-actively optimizing every quality that is in your reach and helps us to improve operating our business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 You take co-ownership our infrastructure and toolset for development, cloud operations and internal business systems.

 You drive the impact of yourself and your team for our business by constantly challenging your priorities and participating in ideation of new features with the CTO.

 You stay on top of the latest cloud technologies and tricks of the trade regarding provisioning of complex infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS:

 You have more than tree years of experience with continuous integration and delivery. Knowing Jenkins Pipeline inside-out is a plus.

 You excel in cloud operations on AWS for a global customer base in multiple availability zones. Deep know-how regarding at least some of the following services is a plus: ELB, RDS, Container Services, Kinesis, SNS, CloudTrail.

 You have at least one year of experience in operating Docker Swarm and/or Kubernetes.

 You have at least one year of experience in automating DevOps using Ansible.

 You have experience in operating an ElasticSearch cluster in multiple AZs. Experience with tuning varnish and nginx for TV campaigns or using DynamoDB is a plus.

 You have operated internal business systems from external vendors for Accounting, Payment, Invoicing, CRM etc. Experience with Salesforce and Datev is a plus.

 You can fluently code in Python 3, bash and PHP.

 You have solid english language skills, German is not required.
