Senior Backend Python Engineer

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Python Engineer with 6+ years of experience to build and scale features across our entire stack. You'll own projects end-to-end — from database to UI — and help shape our technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features from backend services to frontend interfaces
• Architect scalable APIs and maintain high-performance systems
• Lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design teams

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong frontend skills (React, Next.js, or similar modern frameworks)
• Strong backend skills (Node.js, Python, Go, Java, or similar)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Docker
• Solid CS fundamentals and system design skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Track record of mentoring or leading engineers

Nice to Have

• TypeScript across the stack
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or event-driven architectures
