Our client, a leading international law firm with a strong and well-established presence in Almaty and Astana, is expanding its Natural Resources (Oil & Gas / Mining) practice and is seeking talented Senior Associates / Managing Associates to join their growing team. About the Role
You will work on complex, market-leading mandates, advising clients on:
* M&A transactions
* Project financing
* General corporate matters
* Sector-specific regulatory issues
You will collaborate closely with experienced international practitioners while enjoying a supportive and development-focused environment.
Key Requirements
* Kazakh-qualified lawyer with 4+ years of post-qualification experience
* Experience gained at an international or major local law firm is preferred
* Solid background in subsurface use (mining, oil & gas) and general corporate law
* Additional experience in environmental law is a strong advantage
* Law degree and strong academic record
* Full professional proficiency in English
* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters under pressure
* Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to meet strict deadlines
* Ability to work independently within a demanding environment
* Proactive, can-do attitude, intellectual curiosity, and integrity
* A team-oriented mindset and passion for professional excellence
