The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support end-to-end accounting operations for US-based companies.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can independently manage accounting responsibilities, support month-end close, prepare reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
You will work closely with US-based finance stakeholders and take ownership of key accounting processes while contributing to reliable and timely financial reporting.
What You’ll Do
* Manage day-to-day accounting activities across the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
* Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed asset entries, and account adjustments
* Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Support and independently manage assigned areas of the month-end close
* Prepare account roll-forwards and supporting schedules
* Review account activity and investigate unusual or incorrect balances
* Support financial statement preparation and management reporting
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
* Coordinate with US-based finance stakeholders on accounting questions and outstanding items
* Support audit requests and year-end accounting activities
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation
* Assist with system implementations, migrations, or data-cleanup projects when required
What We’re Looking For
* 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience
* Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, AP, AR, and month-end close
* Experience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
* Strong understanding of US GAAP
* Experience working with US-based companies, clients, or accounting teams
* Ability to independently investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
* Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero, Sage, or similar systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supporting audits or preparing audit schedules
* Exposure to multi-entity accounting
* Experience with accounting process improvements or system migrations
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA or equivalent accounting certification is a plus
