Senator Breaks Record with 36-Hour Filibuster Over Climate Bill

In an unprecedented display of endurance, Senator Eleanor Hartfield (D-Vermont) shattered the U.S. Senate’s filibuster record early this morning, speaking for 36 hours and 12 minutes to block a controversial energy bill.
